The Southern Alberta native is the co-host of CTV's national morning show, Your Morning where her colleague, Ben Mulroney is also the co-host of the same show. She also reports for CTV National News alongside Lloyd Robertson.

Anne-Marie Mediwake’s Bio

Born on 16 May 1975, Anne Marie Abeyesinghe Mediwake was raised in Southern Alberta. She comes from a mixed ethnicity as her mother is Scottish and her father is Sri Lankan.

After receiving a well-established education, she went to pursue her career in television as a co-anchor of the News Hour on Global and was soon hired by the CBS News Network in September 2009.          

Eventually, she moved to Toronto to become a reporter for CTV and co-hosted the award-winning current-affairs program, 21c- aimed at Canada’s younger generation.

It wasn’t long before she became co-anchor of CBS News Toronto’s newscasts with Dwight Drummond in October 2010 but left the position in April 2016 to contribute as co-host of CTV’s national morning show, Your Morning.
