Spoiler Warning: Plot details for The Bachelorette season 7 Follow.

Things got serious between The Bachelorette star Katie Thurston and her boyfriend hopeful, Andrew Spencer, as depicted in the fifth episode of the show, aired on July 5, 2021.

The pair went on a one-on-one date and became serious about their relationship and future. One of the most important topics they delved into was Spencer's African roots.

The bachelor shared about his past relationship and the problem that arose because of his race. In his words, he was dating a white woman who worried about having kids with him. She feared their children would be half-black and subjected to racial injustice.

As Spencer detailed how his race played a vital role in his previous relationship, Thurston lifted the stone off his heart. The bachelorette assured him that she had no such worries and no problem having half-black kids.

Taking a big step, the duo then ended their date night, spending time comfortably in a hot tub. Expectedly, Thurston gave a rose to her late-night companion.

In the interview section, she gushed about the romantic night. The fan-favorite celebrity happily confessed that she could see herself falling in love and walking away with Spencer at the end. "And that feels so good," she added.

While there's a high chance she could find love in Spencer, nothing can be said with certainty until the show reveals its last moment. We will have to see if the bachelor fulfills all the requirements Thurston seeks in her partner.

The Washington native wants her boyfriend to be humorous, even laughing at her in the needed moments. She needs him to be mature and ambitious of success in both personal and professional life.

Other than that, her future partner must treat her equally and be passionate about building a life with her. Now, only time will tell if she finds all the qualities in Spencer or someone else who is waiting to win her heart.

Katie Thurston's Relationship Status

Thurston won the audiences' heart when she starred in ABC’s The Bachelor season 25, competing to win the final rose from Matt James.

She stood against bullying and promoted positivity in the house. But she couldn't win a rose in week seven and went home.

Nevertheless, her return as the lead for The Bachelorette season 7 satisfied many. The marketing manager started filming with other cast members in a resort in the middle of New Mexico.

And while the entire show hasn't aired yet, the 30-year-old has already wrapped the season. Tied by rules, Thurston can't share what happened in the program or give details of her relationship.

But Thurston has left no stone unturned to tease her fans with tidbits that hint at her 'taken' relationship status.

For instance, in an Instagram story in June 2021, the reality star wrote that her family searched for a ring, implying that they didn't know about her engagement.

Then in another post, she uploaded a picture of a Taco Bell sauce packet that had a print 'Too bad you're not single.'

Her story suggested she found 'the one' in the show and was dating him.
