American journalist Julia Boorstin is one of the fortunate women who balanced both her professional and personal life. She is married to her sweetheart whom she dated for several years.

The 39 years old media personality serves as the senior media and entertainment correspondent in the business news channel CNBC. She was listed as "the most promising business journalists under 30 years old" by The Journalist and Financial Reporting newsletter in 2003, 2004 and 2006.

She completed her graduation with a Bachelors degree in history from Princeton College in 2000. During her University days, she also worked as the editor for a college publication Daily Princetonian. 

Soon after the graduation, Julia went to work as a writer for Fortune Magazine, where she worked for six years. It was the beginning of a lot of things to come for her.

Diving towards her personal life, Julia and her husband first met in 2004 when his music producer husband was pulled by his roommate to meet Julia at Sundance Film Festival. They started dating for several years and finally decided to step up their relationship.

Julia shares the conjugal bond with the 38 years old husband Couper Samuelson, who serves as an Executive Vice President at Blumhouse at Universal Pictures. The couple exchanged their wedding vows on 16 December 2007 at Beverly Hills, California.
