 Without the support and encouragement from her family, American singer and songwriter Grace VanderWaal would not have achieved her success in the musical platform at such a young age. And now that the triumph has been made, there is no stopping to this young talent. 

The Lenexa native rose to prominence after winning 11the season of NBC's talent competition show,  America's Got Talent (AGT) in 2016. She is the recipient of several awards being a rising star in the field of music.

She demonstrated her passion for singing at an early age of three. When she reached 11, she started making cover songs of famous artists on her YouTube channel. And when she finally landed in AGT, she sang her original hit; I Don't Know My Name.

Grace was born on 15 January 2004 to father, David, and mother, Tina VanderWaal as the youngest child in the family. She has an elder brother named Jakob and a sister, Olivia. 

Grace could not have achieved her success in the musical career without the support of her family. It was evinced by their parents' interview on August 2016 after their daughter's performance in AGT. 

They stated that they were proud of their daughter's which was also evident in their T-shirts. They wore T-shirts, where Grace's singing picture was printed on it.

Similarly, Grace is close to her sister, Olivia. She wrote a song for her sister and performed it on the episode of AGT. She also revealed that she would like to buy a tree-house for herself and her sister from the prize she won from AGT.

Grace, who stands at a height of 1.65 meters (5 feet 5 inch), currently resides in New York with her family.

Her remarkable journey in the singing profession began when she auditioned for AGT in June 2016. The 14-year-old has not only gained fame from her musical stint at an early age but also a stupendous amount of income. She won $1 Million prize money as a winner of AGT and donated a part of the prize for the charity. She has amassed about 2.7 Million subscribers on her YouTube channel, from where she earns an average of $16.7k per month.  Her active involvement in the musical shows is gradually increasing her net worth from year to year.
