Here’s What Kat Stickler’s Ex Husband Mike Is up to after Their Split
The former couple also shared a daughter MK and a whole social media influencer portfolio by the name of Mike and Kat. Obviously, the dynamics of the duo have changed since the divorce.
As of this writing, the ex-husband has taken hold of the YouTube channel, and the duo seems to be doing their best to co-parent their daughter.
Mike Stickler Is Taking over the YouTube Channel
Mike put up a video on their then-joint YouTube channel on May 23, 2021, to announce that he was going to take over the YouTube channel.
Prior to making the announcement, he took the time to thank all his viewers and netizens in general for supporting him as he was going through a difficult time in his life. He went as far as to say that he had never seen so many random acts of kindness.
He further explained that the video was a courtesy call for all the viewers of the channel so that they would not be startled by the sudden change in direction.
In all honesty, he claimed that his taking over the YouTube channel was not some sort of power move over the divorce. It was actually a well-thought-out decision that came after a healthy discussion between the two.
Apparently, between the two, Mike was the one really passionate about creating long-form content for the channel.
Also, he disclosed that he had been preparing content for the revamped channel since the split. As for what the actual content was going to be, he asked fans to wait for the next video for that.
A New Podcast Channel
As promised, Mike uploaded a video the very next day to give fans a taste of his redesigned content and channel reboot.
The three-minute-long video announced that the channel would be renamed "Take A Lap" and would feature podcasts where Mike and his team talked about life, mental health, and business, amongst other things.
The video also announced that the first podcast would be uploaded on May 31, 2021.
The Podcast Is About Taking a Lap
Following the YouTube reveal, Mike also shared the same video on his Instagram. However, the Instagram version came with a descriptive caption.
In the caption, he penned that he was proud of the project and thanked his co-hosts, Rene Chavez and Carlos Gutierrez, for stepping up.
After the customary shout-outs to his collaborators, he explained that the podcast would be exactly what the name suggests. It was about taking a lap to recharge mentally, emotionally, and physically.
The curated content would be largely focused on life and the stuff that people go through and sometimes want to keep to themselves or things that they don't hear enough of.
Apart from the new venture into the world of podcasts, Mike has been busy co-parenting his daughter MK, as evident from all the Instagram posts. He hasn't stepped into the the dating scene yet.
