George was born on 11 March 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Tucson. His comedy career saw a light on a whim in Tucson when he started doing stand-up at Laffs Comedy Caffe.

As a child, he would also perform as an extra in movies, for which his mother Mai Grey used to be a casting director. His mother even appeared in Mother’s Day special episode of The Price Is Right in 2014.

Adding to his family are his sister Renee and brother, Dorian.
