American actress China Anne McClain was rumored to be dating late actor Cameron Boyce. She denied the rumors saying she loved him as her good friend.

Just years afterward, the House Of Payne star stated she was uninterested in dating.

Denied Dating Late Actor Cameron Boyce

McClain's love life has been under scrutiny with her growing age. She was first linked with her co-star, late actor Cameron Boyce; they had starred together on the show Grown Ups and Descendants 2.

The duo had a firm bond as they knew each other since they were nine years old. Because of this, many suspected that they were dating.

McClain vehemently denied the rumors. She clarified Cameron was not her boyfriend via a tweet in 2013. Though she falsified the dating gossips, she maintained she loved the actor as a good friend.

I’m not dating Cameron I don’t know where u guys got that from but I love him we are really good friends.

Uninterested In Making Boyfriends

The A.N.T Farm star has not been vocal about her dating status and boyfriends, not in an interview or social media. But that's for now.

Previously, she timely asserted that she had no boyfriends and expressed her disinterest in dating.

For instance, on August 15, 2014, she took to Twitter to reveal she had no dating plans. Comparing herself to her friend, she wrote they had both a similarity for being uninterested in having a boyfriend.

Thereon, she stayed true to her words.

In May 2015, she revealed she had no boyfriends. She sympathized with her friend, who had no partner, and said she was fine despite not being in a relationship till that age, "I've never had a boyfriend, and I've been just fine."

Her Acting Career

The 22-year-old actress started her acting career from the feature film, The Gospel in 2005 that caught Tyler Perry’s attention. And it wasn’t late until he cast her as Jazmine Payne in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne in 2006.

Standing at the height of five feet and three and a half inches (1.61 meters), McClain starred in the romantic comedy movie Daddy’s Little Girls in 2007 with her sisters, Lauryn and Sierra.

She became internationally known when she starred in the Disney Channel television series, A.N.T. Farm. She portrayed a role musical prodigy, Chyna Parks, from 2011 to 2014.

As of now, McClain stars in The CW superhero series Black Lightning as Jennifer Pierce. She has been in the show since 2018.

In 2004, McClain and her sisters, Sierra and Lauryn, formed an American R&B girl group, 3mcclaingirls in Atlanta, Georgia. The sisters caught interest in music as they watched their father write and produce songs.

They recorded their first song, Silly Games, which was produced by their father alongside Larry Nix and written by their mother.

The group also recorded the song Daddy’s Girls in 2008 and released it on Myspace.
