Christopher Tucker, commonly known as Chris Tucker, is a famed comedian and actor best known for his starring role as Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour film series, where he starred alongside Jackie Chan.

In addition, the 50-year-old — who made his debut as a stand-up performer on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam in the 90s — has also acted in films like Friday, The Fifth Element, Money Talks, and Jackie Brown.

Coming to his personal life, Tucker was married to casting director Azja Pryor from 1997 to 2003. Together, they also welcomed a son, Destin Christopher Tucker, in 1998.

It was a proud moment, especially for Tucker, who believed his son's decision to go to Morehouse made all the sense in the world. Not just that, Destin was following in his father's footsteps by studying film at the famous college. He aims to become a film director.

This year in May, the son of the famed actor took to Instagram to announce he had finally completed his college graduation. He also thanked his parents, writing,

Over these past 4 years, I have absorbed valuable life lessons about navigating through this world as a black man. There were certainly times of doubt, anger, and confusion, but thanks to God, family, and friends. I made it through!

Who Is Chris Tucker Dating Now?

Tucker has remained quite secretive about his personal life since his divorce from Pryor. But he has been linked to several divas through the years, including Vanessa Mendoza, Gelila Asres, and Nia Long.

There were also rumors that the Atlanta native had been dating singer-songwriter, India Arie, for 13 years, circa 2020. However, the rumors were cleared when Arie took to her Twitter to address them.

In one tweet, she shared a GIF image, laughing at the speculations stating she was dating Tucker for 13 years. Similarly, in her June 5, 2020 tweet, she revealed that she was not dating him but admitted going on a couple of dates with him in the past.

Besides, Tucker once revealed that he was not dating a girlfriend or a partner during a video interview on Big Boy TV in July 2015.

"Are you still dating, right now?" the interviewer asked, to which he replied, "You know what, no, I'm not dating right now."

On the other hand, his ex-wife Pryor is presently happily married to Cherif A Ndiaye, a personal trainer and life coach from Senegal. The two also share a 4-year-old daughter, Iman.
