British actor Jonathan Bailey crushed his gay fans' heart as he dropped more than apparent hints on an affair with his mystery girlfriend on social media sites.

Jonathan Bailey is quite known for his roles in the ITV drama Broadchurch, W1A and Leonardo, BBC’s Doctor Who, and Channel 4 comedy Campus.

Born on 25 April 1988, Jonathan Bailey was raised in Wallingford, Oxfordshire alongside his three older sisters. The 34-year-old actor piqued an interest in the theatre when he went to see Jonathan Pryce in Oliver at Christmas at the age of five.

His first captive audience were his sisters and while his parents had never gone to a theatre, Jonathan’s first night as Tiny Tim lured them to becoming his proud audience. His parents were immensely supportive of him and dropped him to rehearsals in Clapham.

The 5 feet 11 inches (1.8 m) actor eventually slid from theatre to movies, and in 2011 he got the role of Leonardo da Vinci in the BBC series, Leonardo.

He soon played alongside Sarah Alexander in the BBC comedy Me and Mrs. Jones.

His performance in David Hare’s South Downs got him the nomination for the award of Outstanding Newcomer at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in 2012.

Jonathan played the role of Tim Price in American Psycho alongside Matt Smith in 2013 and Psi in episode 8 of Doctor Who series in September 2014.

Landing the role of reporter Olly Stevens in Broadchurch, Jonathan played a recurring role in W1A. He also appeared in King Lear at the Chichester Festival Theatre alongside Ian McKellen, Sinéad Cusack and Dervla Kirwan in 2017.

And while there have been wild speculations surrounding Jonathan’s sexual preference, he has not confirmed anything about him being gay. Plus, the frequent pictures he posts with an anonymous woman doesn’t help the rumors grow much.

Jonathan & His Mysteriously Possible Girlfriend
