Who Is Minnesota Vikings' Safety Xavier Woods’ Wife? Get To Know His Family
Xavier Woods, the Minnesota Vikings' safety, is happily married to his wife, Destiny, and are proud parents of two daughters — Dallas Karsyn and Zailyn Karter.
Destiny is a licensed real estate agent at Keller Williams Realty, Inc. She is a committed and engaging professional. Apart from that, she is also a great mother.
The Minnesota Vikings safety proposed to his wife on Mother’s day 2020.
He took to Instagram to post a photo of Destiny showing off her diamond ring along with a sweet caption.
Xavier Woods Believes in His Wife
Woods truly believes in his wife. He is an advocate of her hard work and determination. He often uses his reach, as an NFL player with a wide following, to support Destiny in her endeavors.
He recommends his followers to contact his wife and often says that she is “the woman for the job” when it comes to investing in real estate in Atlanta or the surrounding areas.
Apart from believing in her capabilities as a real estate professional, Woods also believes in her ability to be a “great mom”.
Woods was late to a training camp the day his baby girl, Karsyn, was born in July 2019.
Instead of showing up on Friday, the statutory reporting day, Woods arrived only on Sunday for practice.
"It's my first time being a dad. I wanted to be there, no lie. That's why I spent an extra day down there with her. At the end of the day, I had to come here and take care of this responsibility but she has a great mom who's going to take care of her until I get back.” said Woods after the practice session.
He also thanked Destiny on her birthday for transforming his “imperfections into perfections” just by being with him.
He hopes to witness her being a phenomenal woman every day and prays for her success.
Xavier Woods on Family and Football
His then coach, Jason Garrett, had no problem giving his student all the time he needed.
Woods has kept Garrett in the know about the baby’s due date and gave him a heads up if something happened earlier.
“Families come first. He knows that,” said Woods to a Dallas News reporter. He is grateful to his coach for letting him be excused the first day.
Being a first-time father, according to Woods, puts football into perspective. With a newborn to tend after, his perspective on life shifted slightly.

Woods said that he has a new focus and that his daughter gave him a new responsibility which is bigger than football.
“Football was all I really thought about before and now it's for her. Everything is for her," explained Woods.
The former Dallas Cowboys’ safety even named his daughter after the club, which reflects his gratitude towards it. He often posts about his daughters on his Instagram.
Woods, a sixth-round pick by Dallas in 2017, spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Cowboys.
Woods joined the Minnesota Vikings, which is mentored by All-Pro Harrison Smith, in March 2021.
