In 2015, Colombian actress Sofia Vergara appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and shared moments from her "fairy tale" wedding with her husband and actor Joe Manganiello.

Per Vergara, the wedding was attended by her family and closest friends. Also in attendance were her co-stars from the television series Modern Family.

For most of the conversation, the actress teased Ellen DeGeneres for not turning up at her wedding.

"[There was] a lot of food, a lot of flowers. A lot of nice people. You missed a really good party," Vergara said in her tease aimed at DeGeneres.

Earlier in November, Vergara took to her official Instagram account and posted a series of her wedding pictures and a video of the couple dancing to mark their sixth wedding anniversary.

In the post's caption, she wished her husband on occasion and expressed her intimacy toward him.

She wrote, "Feliz Aniversario mi amor ! 6yrs. To many more! Love u!"

Additionally, the couple is without a child at present. However, Vergara has a son from her previous marriage.

Sofia Vergara's Wedding Dress Caught Everyone's Attention

According to a report by People, Vergara married Manganiello during a wedding ceremony at The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

The ceremony was set indoors within a close compound decorated with beautiful flowers, including white roses, orchids, and hydrangeas.

Despite all the glowing features of the wedding ceremony and the reception party, it was her wedding dress that caught people's attention when Vergara walked down the aisle.

During the ceremony, Vergara wore a white wedding dress custom-made by Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad.

As per a report published in the Grazia Daily, Vergara's eye-catching gown took long hours and a massive team to make it ready for the wedding day.

The tailor-made strapless dress featured a full, delicate hand-embroidered skirt and mermaid neckline paired with Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.

The wedding dress reportedly took thirty-two people and 1,657 rigorous hours to bring to completion.

And was fitted with three hundred fifty crystals, eleven pounds of sequins, and seven pounds of pearls.

Expressing his idea behind the dress design, Murad reportedly said,

I was delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with Sofia on her dream wedding gown. I wanted Sofia to look phenomenal on her wedding day, showing off her hourglass physique and enhancing her famous curves. 

Later during her conversation with Martha Stewart Weddings, the actress spoke about how one's marriage ceremony is not the time to try new ideas for outfits.

"My body looks better when I have fitted dresses with more support," remarked Vergara and said she opted for a dress type that "looks good on me."

Sofia Vergara's Engagement Ring and Wedding Cake Made Headlines

The couple was engaged sometime prior to their wedding in 2015.

During the 2015 SAG awards, actress Vergara was present with her then-fiance Manganiello, and her engagement ring was noticed as the couple walked down the red carpet.

According to Glamour, her ring had a big center stone in a halo setting with more pave diamonds on the band.

On the other hand, during the wedding ceremony, a massive five-tier cake done with white flowers by cake designer Sylvia Weinstock gathered the guest's attention.
