Megan Thee Stallion debuted in the rap game in 2015, and since then, she has been an unstoppable force. 

The Htown Hottie topped the charts with ‘Hot Girl Summer ft Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign’ in 2019. 

Since then, she has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Beyoncé and Cardi B. 

Her most recent release was on October 29, 2021, a compilation album of freestyles entitled Something for Thee Hotties: From the Vault. 

The album peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and spent 15 weeks.

But on February 15, 2022, the artist surprised all her hotties with news of an exciting collaboration for her upcoming song.

The rapper teased an upcoming collab in a new interview with E! News.

She explained that her fans were getting new music, which would be something quite unexpected and different. 

“The next thing y’all will hear from me is with somebody you might know, somebody you might have guessed before. The next thing is going to be fire,” said the rapper. 

Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa Song Collab

Fans have already started guessing who it is going to be. In the past, Stallion mentioned wanting to collab with Rihanna and Adele. 

iHeartRADIO even guessed that it would be one of the four artists — Lizzo, Doja Cat, Christina Aguilera, and Dua Lipa.

But for the upcoming song, fans highly suspect the new song will feature the ‘Levitating’ singer.

Deuxmoi, a completely anonymous blog page, reported that Lipa and the ‘WAP’ rapper collab was coming soon. 

This information is only speculation for now, but there are some clues that fans have picked up on. 

On June 11, 2021, during an interview, the rapper spoke about the artists she liked. She took Lipa’s name and mentioned that she thought Lipa was “fire” and would love to work with her.

“Somebody asked me about Dua Lipa, I love Dua Lipa, she’s so fire. I really want to do a song with Dua Lipa. I saw this like mashup on Twitter and it was fire,” said the Htown Hottie. 

The Albanian pop star was down for the collab and reposted a snippet on the rapper’s interview on IG story writing, “I love you @TheeStallion let’s get it!!!!”

Dua Lipa on Tour With Megan Thee Stallion

Currently, the talented artists are on tour for Lipa’s Future Nostalgia tour, which fans assume is a hint that they will collaborate on the new song. 

Lipa announced last September that she would be kicking off the tour of North America in February this year. 

The pop star was thrilled to be on tour and ready to dance and celebrate with everyone once again. 

“I’m so excited that this fantasy is finally coming true. I can’t wait to experience these songs with you together live!” said Lipa. 

The tour will run through until the start of April and includes features from Caroline Polachek. 

It also includes Stallion, who will support the singer in Denver, Tulsa, and Phoenix in mid-March.

The artists might release the song during the tour, but no one knows for sure. Fans are excited about the prospects, though.
