Award-winning singer Dua Lipa had us all ‘levitating’ on good vibes throughout 2020 with her hit album Future Nostalgia. Since sky-rocketing into fame in 2017 with her self-titled record, the English-Albanian star has been a juggernaut in contemporary pop.

With many nominations, multiple chart-topping songs, and a Grammy for Best Vocal Pop Album, Lipa inspires many to get in shape.

Dua Lipa’s Fitness Journey

While speaking with Vogue back in 2017, Lipa disclosed she sweats a lot and does not care about her makeup running. This alluded to how she keeps in shape — be it as a radiant personality on-stage or boxing off-stage.

She said that fitness is an exercise for pushing her boundaries. In the same article, she also gave an insight into her 15-minute workout

She elaborated it was high-intensity interval training (HIIT) which was her go-to regiment. Also, by tracing her inspirations to keep an impeccable form, one can see the philosophy behind her fitness.

She idolizes Madonna and her sculpted physique, the acrobatics of Pink, the hustle of Katy Perry, the undaunted personality of FKA Twigs, and the boldness of Grimes.

When the time came around for her to shine for her 2021’s Grammy performance, she wowed the crowd by showing off her physique in four progressively revealing outfits.

Dua Lipa’s Weight Loss Journey

The singer’s weight loss journey is straightforward, with a controlled diet and high-intensity exercises.

She has never been a fan of skipping meals or having a restrictive diet. Instead, she resorts to healthier options, such as having bananas and cashew for snacks.

Lipa makes it a point to stay away from foods containing sugar. She tries to have a balanced intake as much as possible, but she often feels lethargic after eating sugary things.

The singer keeps up with her workout routine even in her hotel rooms, as she is always on the move. Her routine is not something spectacular nor unique, but something that everyone could follow.

According to her, sticking to such a routine gets you the results, and by looking at the singer's physique, it is no surprise that HIIT works wonders.

Dua Lipa on Her Family and Boyfriend

Lipa was born on 22 August 1995 in London. Her parents, Dukagjin and Anesa, immigrated to the UK from Kosovo because of the high-tensioned environment, which eventually led to war.

Lipa was inspired by her father to pursue a career in music. He was the lead singer and guitarist of the Kosovan rock band Oda, and after coming to London, he used to play his records at home.

The war negatively affected her family. She lost a lot of relatives, including her grandfather, because of the conflict.

The family moved back to Kosovo after the war. To bring Kosovo back to its feet, many international events started happening there. One of the major platforms was for music.

Hip-hop was popular there, and as a result, many rappers like 50 cents, Snoop Dogg, Method Man, and Redman held concerts.

Lipa was fortunate to attend those events, which amplified her love for music. But, apart from music, Kosovo’s war also inspired her to raise her voice when needed.

She is very vocal about feminism, the Black Lives Matter movement, and her Albanian heritage. She recently spoke up about the Israel-Palestine conflict, supporting her boyfriend Anwar Hadid’s home country.

Lipa and Anwar started dating in June 2019 and have been together ever since. Anwar is the son of socialite Yolanda Hadid and the brother of supermodels Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid.
