The 41-year-old heartthrob Luke Evans might have ruled over the audiences' hearts playing the prince of darkness in Dracula Untold, but when it comes to the matters of his heart, fans have long been kept in the dark. 

Ever since Evans came out as gay, fans have been curious about his love life and possible partners. Some even have their ears to the ground, constantly asking: Is Luke Evans married? 

While it is improbable that the actor has taken a spouse outside of public knowledge, he has had a few love interests over the years that we could chat about. 

Who Is Luke Evans' Partner?

Well, that's a difficult question to answer. The last anyone heard of Evans dating, he was in a relationship with boyfriend Rafa Olarra. 

Evans and Olarra went public with their relationship in February 2020, as per Us Weekly, with a short video clip of them having a good time during a Hawaiian getaway.

Apparently, Olarra was a huge fan of Evans' Welsh humor. No wonder the two were bursting with laughter throughout the entire clip. 

Before going Instagram official, Olarra had been making random appearances here and there on Evans' social feeds. The duo was seen running together and going out on boat rides together for New Year's. 

Sadly, their supposedly picture-perfect romance barely made it through the one year milestone before things ended for good.

Luke Evans Broke Up in Early 2021

In early January 2021, Evans was the first to break the news of their split. During an interview with UK's The Times, Evens confirmed that him and his partner had officially broken up. 

However, the news did not come as much of a surprise for fans who were speculating for some time that the Evans-Olarra boat was charting rough waters. 

"It is what it is," Evans said at the time. The actor had already unfollowed his ex on social platforms and even removed photos of the Chile-born former footballer from his Instagram. 

Luke Evans Dated a Columbian Actor

Prior to hooking up with the footballer, the Welsh actor was reportedly dating Victor Turpin.

While neither of the two had come to the open press with news on their relationship, Express reported that the couple had been dating since around May 2018. 

The outlet further detailed that the couple even made it to a few events in one another's company. They were also spotted holidaying in Mexico in December 2018. 

Evans later gushed on his Instagram, celebrating the time that he had down south. With a picture of their trip together, he shared that he'd had a magical week. 

He later added that he was grateful for the company and the quality time that he'd got to spend in such beautiful spaces. 

Turpin is an actor based out of Columbia and has starred in titles like Shades of Blue and Will and Grace.
