Friends debuted on television in 1994.

The series followed the lives and adventures of six friends who experienced every life experience imaginable together.

It became an instant hit with audiences, and to this day, it is one of the most popular sitcoms on television.

The talented cast members, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, became superstars. 

They also forged some truly exceptional friendships in real life. 

One such friendship was between Cox and Aniston. 

Aniston, who took on the role of Rachel Green, was BFF with Cox’s Monica Geller. 

The duo became fast friends behind the cameras and have been going strong ever since.

The two Hollywood celebrities have experienced many major milestones together.

Aniston was the maid of honor at Cox’s wedding with David Arquette.

Similarly, Cox was also present at her best friend’s wedding to Brad Pitt in 2000.

Five years later, she attended The Bounty Hunter actress’ second wedding with Justin Theroux.

According to People, the Cougar Town star was the “last guest to leave,” the event. 

The ladies were also there for each other during their dark times. 

In 2005, Aniston and Pitt called it quits after five years of marriage.

Meanwhile, Cox and Arquette divorced in 2010, and fortunately, she could lean on her co-star and best friend. 

Cox told TV Week as reported by E! News that Aniston, who had been divorced before, “had been amazing.” when speaking about her divorce. 

The Scream actress also went through many miscarriages, but eventually, in 2004, she gave birth to Coco Arquette. 

And no points for guessing, but Aniston ended up becoming the godmother. 

Another less known fact about the duo is that they dated the same guy early in their friendships. 

In 1995, Aniston was dating Counting Crows lead vocalist Adam Duritz, and two years later, he went out with her best friend.

Naturally, as best friends, the duo spends a lot of time together, from going on vacations to attending red carpet events.

The duo regularly share snaps to social media, detailing some of their adventures over the years.

They also ensure to shout each other out online on special occasions such as their 50th birthday.

But one of the things they truly enjoy is watching friends bloopers together.  

On June 2020, Aniston and her fellow co-star and other best friend, Kudrow, sat down for a chat for Variety’s Actors on Actors issue. 

At one point, Kudrow asked Aniston if she had been watching Friends during the pandemic lockdown. 

The Wanderlust star shared she still loved watching the comedy sitcom and was delighted whenever she saw clips of it. 

She recalled that she and Cox came across bloopers of themselves online one day. 

They ended up spending time together, laughing at their mistakes. 

“This one time Courteney and I were trying to find something to reference from Friends. And then we stumbled on bloopers online and we watched these bloopers laughing at ourselves,” said the actress.
