A source close to the actress revealed she has had the star tattoo for over a decade and added the birds after her marriage to her current husband, talent agent, Jim Toth.

After a failed marriage and two kids, the Oscar winner met the love of her life at a party. In a conversation with Elle, the star revealed the two had their first meeting at a party when Toth saved her from a drunk guy.
The duo started dating in 2010, following the actress’s breakup with Jake Gyllenhaal. But they waited until March to go public about their relationship.
A year after the couple officiated their relationship, the two got married. On March 27, 2011, the couple tied the knot, and in September 2012, they had a baby boy, Tennessee James Toth.
Not only has Toth been a great partner to the actress, but he is also one of her biggest supporters. In a 2016 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the Legally Blonde actress confessed it was her husband’s idea for her to produce movies. The actress said:
He said, 'You should produce movies. You read more books than anybody I know. You should just buy some of them and turn them into films.
As the couple near their 10th marriage anniversary, they appear to be going strong. Recently, on Valentine’s Day, the mother of three posted a beautiful monochrome picture of her and her husband together.
In the picture, the actress was donning a floral dress, and her partner was dressed in an all-black suit. The couple was facing the camera, with Witherspoon carrying a graceful smile as she posed beside her partner.

Her Tummy Tattoo
In 2011, the southern belle was caught on camera carrying a sizable tattoo right above her pelvic bone.
The picture was taken only months after Witherspoon’s marriage with Toth when the actress was on vacation in Hawaii with her hubby and two kids, Ava and Deacon. In the picture, the actress is showing off her body ink while wearing a light blue bikini.
The tattoo was of a star flanked by two swallows. According to a source close to Witherspoon, she had the star tattoo for a long time but added the two birds after her matrimony with Toth.
The source added that the star tattoo was a symbol of their love and a new beginning together.
