American reporter Jamie Erdahl currently is on the books of CBS Sports. Jamie joined the network in September 2014 and is a lead sideline reporter for the network.

Jamie Erdahl Was Always Interested In Sports!

Born on 3 December 1989 in Bloomington, Minnesota, Jamie Erdahl was born to parents;, mother, Chris and father, Jim. Her nationality is American, and ethnicity is North American.

As far as she can remember, it has always been her folks who influenced her enthusiasm for games to develop ever since her youth as they were very much settled in Minnesota. Growing up, she had the privilege of going anywhere she wanted in her career, but being very passionate about sports she spent most of her time playing baseball and softball.

Although she had enveloped a lot of interests in sports, she was always focused on her education with an utmost desire to attain a higher degree.

The Minnesota-native enrolled at the St. Olaf College in 2007.

Following her college graduation, she joined the American University in 2009 from where she graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts, Communication and Media Studies in 2011. 

Following her graduation from the University, Jamie, who had interests in playing sports from the very beginning, never succeeded as a player but managed to make a massive influence as a sports reporter. 

Jamie Erdahl's Career: From School Reporter To CBS 

Jamie Erdahl was into reporting business from her high school days. She started hosting several shows for the school, one of which was Eye on the Eagle, a half an hour magazine show featuring the men’s basketball team which aired on Comcast SportsNet Washington.

After graduating, Jamie joined New England Sports Network (NESN) on November 2012, located on Greater Boston Area at the age of 22. The following year she filled in on the sidelines for Jenny Dell during the Boston Red Sox. She worked for the channel for two years and left her job on November  2014. Later she joined the CBS channel on September 2014 along with another CBS correspondent Vladimir Duthiers.

She currently works as the lead sideline reporter for SEC on CBS, along with Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson.

She also appears during the NCAA basketball regular season as well as on CBS/Turner March Madness coverage along with working as a studio host for CBS Sports Network.

What Is Her Salary At CBS?

Being one of the youngest sideline reporters on a major network, Jamie is a very talented and hardworking personality. With all the success at such a young age, there is no doubt that she commands a hefty salary. According to glassdoor.com, an average CBS News Reporter is paid about $29K to $52K annually.

However, her actual salary figures have yet to make the media which could be due to CBS' policy of not disclosing the payment structure.

Jamie Erdahl Wishes Husband Happy Anniversary

About a year after getting engaged, she and Sam walked down to aisle to be pronounced husband and wife. She married her fiance on 23 July 2017. 

Describing her whirlwind year on birthday post in December 2017, she stated that her 28th year was a massive success as she ticked off many things on her bucket list, including getting married, owning a dog and buying her first home. She also explained that after having such a blissful year, she was longing for her 29th to be even better.  

Happily married for more than a year now, Jamie did not leave the opportunity to wish her husband on their one year anniversary. She posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram on the couple's wedding anniversary saying:

You're an early bird and I’m a night owl and to be honest that’s probably what made the first year of marriage so easy. ❤️ Happy anniversary my love!

She also Instagrammed a number of pictures on her wall from her wedding.
