David Bromstad was in a serious relationship with Jeffrey Glasko since 2004. But the decade-long connection ended with something that no one would have foreseen — a legal battle with nasty accusations.

Bromstad's Boyfriend Filed the Lawsuit

The initiation of Bromstad and Glasko's relationship was something straight out of a fairytale. They fell in love soon after meeting at a singles party on Valentine's Day in 2004.

The Color Splash host and his police officer boyfriend even started living together. Little did they know, after spending a decade with one another, they would separate in bad blood in 2015.

Soon after the separation, his ex-partner filed a civil lawsuit against him for a breach of an oral nuptial-like cohabitation contract. He also asked for the partition of the condo they shared. The demands, however, were not as surprising as the reasons he cited for their separation.

Glasko alleged that the Design Star winner left him emotionally and financially devastated after getting into the dark world of [expletive] and drugs.

Meanwhile, the Miami-Dade County circuit court judge nullified the allegations claiming they were the “most scandalous” claims he had ever reviewed.

So Glasko amended the allegations and filed for yet another case in December 2015. He complained that the interior designer had used their conjoint funds to pay for drugs and prostitutes around 2010. He also accused that his partner’s behavior resulted in the loss of trust and confidence between them.

The judge ruled against him once more and dismissed his claim of breach of contract.

Bromstad, on the other hand, denied all accusations and opted not to comment further. His lawyer William V. Roppolo announced the case result and stated that the “salacious claims were made by a desperate person.”
