Greek American sportscaster Spero Dedes' love life still evinces the norms and traditions of his Greek heritage from which he had deviated in the process of searching for his identity in the world.

Sports anchoring is not a profession of a joke. One needs extreme dedication and passion for it. And speaking about dedication, anchor Spero Dedes’ way of engaging his audiences premier to the start of the game proves it all. He is a Greek-American sportscaster who currently announces for NFL and CBS. Severely interested in this field from a very young age of his life, Dedes used to stay awake for the whole night just to watch his favorite Knicks play in NBA.

On 2005, his career started to flourish at the young age of 26 when he joined NBA team LA Lakers as an announcer. The Paramus New Jersey native, who had also anchored for New York Knicks and NFL Network before, is now a CBS sportscaster after 6 years on his previous jobs.

His father eventually agreed to send him to Fordham University in New York if he majored in business management and minored in broadcasting. He went to the college and performed so weak in the math classes that he decided to major in broadcasting.
