The studio host, Greg Amsinger is one of the reporters who prefers to not to be too open about his personal life. Not everybody loves the spotlight hovering around their private space and Greg supposedly is amidst the one who doesn't prefer it too.

The Missouri native is a studio host at MLB Network, who regularly appears as a host on the signature program, MLB Tonight and in special event coverage that includes MLB's All-Star Game and post-season games. In the MLB offseason, he does play-by-play for select men's college basketball games on the Big Ten Network.

Greg was born on 24th May 1979 in Missouri in the family of seven siblings and has five brothers and a sister. He recieved his high school education at St. Charles High School in 1997. Later, he earned his graduation from the Lindenwood University in St.Charles, Missouri in 2001.  Regarding most of his early days, not much information has ever been revealed to the public. Greg fancies a private lifestyle and only wants the world to focus on his professional career.

Joined MLB Network In 2009

From an early age, Greg has always known what he wanted to achieve in his life and he paved his own way accordingly. Greg's career in the journalism field started way back, when he was in school, as a part-timer at many radio stations.

Greg has worked with many networks like CBS College Sports, WTHI-TV and part-time radio jobs in school as producer of the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Radio Network at KMOX. He was the first studio host for CBS College sports and hosted several programs in the channel like Crystal Ball and Inside College Football.

Greg Amsinger Silent On Family Life

When it comes to Greg Amsinger personal life, he has always been reluctant about sharing his details out to the public. However, some of the information has come forth letting us know that he is a married man. Greg is married to a Commercial Agent at The Talent Mine, Erica Amsinger. 

Meanwhile, though he prefers to remain low-key about his family, Greg once was spotted attending the opening night of Bronx Bombers at Circle in the Square Theatre back in 6th February 2014 with his wife.

Also, while Greg is silent about flaunting his love life in social networking sites, the same does not apply to his wife Erica, who is much active in sharing their family's bond. Back on 6th December 2009, Erica Armsinger posted a photo on her Facebook account where she showed her baby bump along with Greg and their little daughter.

Later, Greg and Amy added yet another member to the family, welcoming their second child, a son into their lives.  A bundle of joy to an already happy life it seems. As said earlier, Erica loves providing her followers with the glimpse of her family, and she did the same uploading an adorable picture with her family of four back in April 2014.Â
