Boyd responded late, but he responded better in the controversial case between his castmate Olivia Munn and registered sex offender Steven Wilder. The buzz started in early September 2018 when the Fox announced the deletion of a scene in Predator that featured Steven opposite to Olivia.

After remaining mum for days of the incident, Holbrook has finally decided to opine for the matter as reported by Variety on 10 Sep 2018.
