Jose Canseco has a very happening life. While he is lauded for his baseball career, he has also found himself in trouble with substances.

As a result, he has been arrested and gone to jail several times. Jose is also a father to one daughter, Josie Canseco, a very prominent influencer.

As a result, she is very open about her life with her followers. She is a successful model who has worked with Sherri Hill, Playboy, and Victoria's Secret.

However, after dating Logan Paul, she was introduced into the world of TikTokers, YouTubers, and influencers. She has collaborated with many and has attended influencers' podcasts as well.

For example, on February 10, 2022, she attended Jeff Wittek's podcast, Jeff FM,  with the latter's friend, Jason Nash.

There, she talked about various things like her career and relationships. But one main thing she talked about was her father.

While having a conversation with Wittek on the podcast, Josie noticed a mug on the table. The cup had Wittek's mugshot on it, to which the model asked what he did to land himself in jail.

Wittek revealed it was when he was 21 and was selling cocaine in Miami. He further said now he sells his mugshot cup on YouTube.

That was when Josie chimed in, saying her father did the same and sold merch with his mugshot. Then, one of the co-hosts, Kyle, asked the model what Jose did to go to jail.

There was an awkward moment since Josie did not know how to respond to that. But later, she revealed her father went to jail for seven months after beating a guy up.

He did so to protect a girl since Josie claimed the guy had his hands up the girl's skirt. Along with Josie's father, his twin brother, Ozzie Canseco, was also responsible for the battery charge.

According to reports, the fight happened in 2001 at a Miami Beach nightclub. The twins claimed they got involved since the man allegedly assaulted Jose's friend.

Later, the Canseco twins pled guilty to the aggravated battery charges and received community service and probation.

Jose Canseco and Drugs

Jose beating up someone and pleading guilty is not the only time he has had trouble with the law. He has a long history of such charges and even some related to drugs.

The baseball player is very open about his use of steroids.

This fact first made headlines in 2005 after he admitted to using drugs alongside other players in his book: Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant 'Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big.

The revelation was so big that it even caught the interest of Congress. In 2008, he was sentenced for drug smuggling.

He pleaded guilty to going to a pharmacy in Tijuana and looking for a performance-enhancing drug to boost his testosterone level. Other than the cases related to drugs, Jose has been in jail for other issues.

This includes carrying unregistered pistols and beating his wives, Esther Canseco, and Jessica Canseco.
