"Emotionally, spiritually and medically, it was probably the most difficult time in my life. I wasn't myself," she shared with InStyle.

In her personal blog, the singer revealed she suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth to their third kid.

Brigitte Nielsen became a proud mom for the fifth time at the age of 54.
She told People that it made her feel "young" on the inside, but her motherhood for the fifth time was more challenging because of her advanced maternal age.
According to the actress, she began preparing for their future together by freezing her eggs at the age of 40, not long after meeting her fifth husband, Mattia Dessi.
Nielsen has four sons and one daughter from five different marriages.
