The popularity of celebs who give birth after 40 can contribute to the misconception that it is simple to get pregnant later in life.

But it's not that easy; the difficulties come with postpartum depression, pregnancy struggle, IVF haze, and other issues related to conceiving and having children at a later age.

From Alanis Morissette to Marla Sokoloff, Julia Stiles to Danielle Fishel, here are seven Hollywood celebrities who became pregnant after 40.

The Full House actress became pregnant with her third child at 41.

In her personal blog, the singer revealed she suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth to their third kid.

She wrote, "Hormonal. Sleep deprivation. Fogginess. Physical pain. Isolation. Anxiety. Cortisol. Recovery from childbirth (as beautiful and intense as mine was at home, dream birth.), integrating new angel baby with older angel babies. Marriage. All kinds of PTSD triggers."

Brigitte Nielsen

Brigitte Nielsen became a proud mom for the fifth time at the age of 54.

She told People that it made her feel "young" on the inside, but her motherhood for the fifth time was more challenging because of her advanced maternal age.
