Julia Stiles started acting at the young age of 16 when she got her first lead role in the thriller Wicked alongside the late Michael Parks.

The actress found massive success playing Kat Stratford in the 1999’s romantic teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You opposite late actor Heath Ledger.

Since then, she has starred in many critically acclaimed shows like Dexter and Riviera. She has had an impressive acting career in her 28 years of working.

The Duo's Relationship Timeline

The pair met on the set of her 2015 thriller movie, Go with Me, where Cook was a camera assistant. Not much is known about their dating history. However, they got married just after two years of dating.

The pair had announced their engagement on January 4 via her Instagram, nine months before their shotgun wedding.

Stiles shared the photo of her ring ladened hand interlocked with her now-husband.

Even though she announced the engagement in January, she captioned the post as her best Christmas, indicating the pair had gotten engaged over the holidays. She tagged the location as Isla Grande, Colombia — presumably Cook had proposed to her in a romantic getaway to Colombia.

For their wedding, they had a beachside ceremony on the occasion of Labor Day in September 2017. The ceremony was extremely private, with only two friends as their guests.

Stiles confirmed the news to her followers with an intimate picture from her big day, showing both herself and Cook wearing wedding bands.

Her husband could be seen cradling Stiles's baby bump in the image while she was wearing a white lace wedding dress. The pair were pregnant with their first child at the time of their wedding.

Last year, the couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary. Stiles marked the occasion with an adorable yet funny Instagram Post. She shared a heartfelt picture of them at their wedding ceremony, hugging each other.

In the captions, the actress noted how they had been together for three years, in five countries and two quarantines, yet hadn't killed each other.

The Pair Have A Child

The couple welcomed their first child on October 20, 2017. The Mona Lisa Smile actress gave birth to a boy named Strummer Newcomb Cook at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

The pregnancy was confirmed back in June, while Stiles was on a press tour promoting her Sky Atlantic series Riviera. The actress had also shared her 8-month-old baby bump picture with her followers.

However, to date, the couple has kept their child out of the limelight.
