Everything You Need to Know about the Lawsuit between Blac Chyna and the Kardashian Family
Blac Chyna is dragging the Kardashian family to court.
She is seeking compensation of millions for punitive damages from Kris Jenner and the sisters of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner.
Chyna has been accusing the Kardashians of many things, including tarnishing her reputation and the cancellation of Rob & Chyna.
Similarly, she has also accused her baby daddy, Rob Kardashian, of harassment, battery, and assault.
As a result, she filed a lawsuit for defamation, intentional interference with prospective economic advantage, and intentional interference with contract back in 2017.
Finally, the case has been taken to court, and Chyna is exposing the Kardashian family there.
To know how the situation escalated to this extent, we need to go back to 2016, when Chyna started dating Rob Kardashian.
Blac Chyna's Murky Past
Chyna and Rob's relationship started in January 2016, and three months into it, the pair were engaged. The rapper announced her engagement via a now-deleted post on Instagram.
She posted a picture of herself showing off her ring and wrote "YES!.....!.....!" on the captions. Five months into their relationship, in May 2016, the pair announced they were pregnant with their baby.
They never got married but welcomed their daughter Dream on November 10, 2016. A month later, they parted ways.
They reconciled soon after but broke up for real in February 2017. While Rob rarely appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, his relationship with Chyna was explored on the show.
Then, the two had their spin-off show called Rob & Chyna. Their relationship and life were showcased in Rob & Chyna. But unfortunately, it was canceled after Season 1.

Things took a nasty turn after that. Chyna allegedly assaulted Rob and tried to kill him.
Rob, on the other hand, uploaded explicit pictures of the rapper on social media. As a result, Chyna got a temporary restraining order against her baby daddy, claiming what he did was take revenge.
Since then, the two have stayed out of their way — until the lawsuit came.
The Lawsuit Against The Kardashian Family
Chyna filed a lawsuit against the Kardashian family in 2017. However, the hearing is finally taking place in April 2022.
Till now, the Kardashians have denied all the accusations from Chyna. The rapper claimed that Kris and her daughters were the ones who got Rob & Chyna canceled.
She accused the momager of lying to the head of Rob & Chyna that the rapper had strangled Rob with an iPhone charger and hit him with a pole. Kris denied canceling the show but confirmed Chyna assaulted her son.
She also accused Chyna of taking a gun to Rob's head and threatening to shoot him. Kylie sided with her mom and brother and affirmed that Chyna abused Rob.
The mother-daughter duo had also accused Chyna of threatening Kylie when the latter was dating Tyga. Chyna denied the allegations and said she would never hurt Rob.
She claimed to be joking regarding the gun incident and said she was trying to grab Rob's attention when she strangled him with an iPhone cord.
Furthermore, she accused Rob of assaulting and harassing her, saying her actions were just a reply to those. However, Chyna claims she did not cause Rob any harm regardless of her actions.
The Kardashian family wants the lawsuit to be thrown out of the court. They want it dismissed since "Before trial began, these claims were absurd."
The case is still ongoing, and the verdict is yet to be announced.
