Kylie Jenner’s ‘Kendall X Kylie Collection’ Photoshoot Pictures Bring Debate on Her Postpartum Body

Kylie Jenner is facing backlash online for her unrealistic postpartum body and stomach.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan is not new to getting backlash about their appearance and the photos they post online. Almost all the pictures they post on social media are scrutinized. 

They are highly criticized for surgeries they have done and hidden, editing photos, and face-tuning themselves and their kids. 

Moreover, celebrities like Jameela Jamil constantly call them out for setting unrealistic beauty standards for young girls.

Yet, regardless of all the backlash and criticisms, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters have not responded to them. 

The youngest sister, Kylie, recently came under fire for the same.

Kylie Jenner's Controversy regarding Postpartum Body

She released her new makeup collection, Kendall X Kylie Collection, with her sister, Kendall Jenner. 

They promoted their makeup on Instagram through photoshoots. Then fans noticed Kylie's stomach, which was flat and looked nothing like a belly that belonged to a post-baby body. 

She recently gave birth to her second child on February 2, 2022. After two months of giving birth, the makeup mogul promoted Kendall X Kylie Collection. 

So naturally, people questioned when the photoshoot and promotional pictures were taken since Kylie's body looked totally different from what it would naturally have.

Many complained and pointed out that the Jenners were setting unrealistic body standards. Similarly, many noted that the photos might have been photoshopped to edit Kylie's post-baby body. 

Some speculated in the comment section that she got a c-tuck. C-tuck is a combination of cesarean delivery and a tummy tuck at once. 

It is usually done after pregnant women give birth via cesarean delivery. It is said to be convenient since two separate surgeries would be done at one and with the same recovery periods. 

Kylie Jenner's Stomach: Before or After Pregnancy?

This conversation about Kylie's post-baby body even dragged the attention of YouTuber and beauty blogger Lorri Hill. She took to Instagram stories to discuss the photograph and Kylie's postpartum body and belly. 

She questioned if the pictures were taken before or after the makeup mogul gave birth to her second child. Many shared her concern and penned their opinion on Kylie's post.

It is possible that the promotional pictures for Kendall X Kylie Collection were taken either before the makeup mogul started showing or before she was pregnant. 

This is because just a week before she promoted her collection, she showed off her postpartum body. She especially showed off her stomach and the reality of a woman's body after giving birth. 

She took to Instagram stories to talk about how difficult it was mentally and physically for her after giving birth to her son. Similarly, on March 22, 2022, she posted photos during her pregnancy and after giving birth. 

One such picture was of Kylie's bare post-baby belly with her newborn son stepping on it. Many appreciated her uploading such raw images and admired her for showing her postpartum body and stomach. 

Therefore, it is possible that Kylie took pictures alongside her sister for Kendall X Kylie Collection before giving birth to her son.
