The couple first started dating in Yakima, WA.

However, there were enough skeptics about their relationship. They were told on numerous occasions that their relationship would never work as they both were chasing a career on TV.

With both the partners focused on making it big, people assumed that time constraints would hinder their relationship. 

Despite all the negativity surrounding the couple's relationship, they persevered and got married in August 2007.

They have provided the haters with a fitting response, as their union could not have been better. As of now, they have already been in a marital relationship for over ten years.

Whit And His Wife's Relationship Heights: 14 Anniversaries & Counting

Back in August 2017, the couple celebrated their tenth marriage anniversary. Whit, with a romantic and lovely caption, uploaded pictures of him and his wife, outlining their journey from their wedding to their children on his Instagram.

In his caption, he mentioned that his wife is his best friend, trusted advisor, the most incredible mother of two, and the love of his life. He further said that he couldn't wait to see where their second decade takes them.

As of now, the couple is blessed with two adorable daughters. They welcomed their first daughter, Leah, on May 15, 2012. After one year of her birth, Whit celebrated her first birthday and shared her picture on his Twitter. Their second daughter, Summer, was born on July 26, 2014.

Whit loves making memories with his family and regularly shares pictures of them spending family time in different places and occasions.

Back in October 2017, on Halloween Day, Whist posted a Halloween-themed picture where he can be spotted having fun with his family.

In March 2018, the couple went to Disneyland to have some fun time with their angels. Whit doesn't fail to spend most of his time with his wife and kids despite his bustling life as a journalist. 

Whit recently went on a vacation with his small family in Jersey, and even though the weather wasn't favorable, they still smiled for a picture that the proud family man put on his Instagram.

While the family was enjoying the vacation, Whit was also busy convincing his sister to move to New York City.

Whit isn't hesitant to show his family on screen, and his sister has even made an appearance on Good Morning America (GMA) with him at one time.

He posted a picture with his sister and daughters and even hinted at moving his West Coast family members with him to New York.

Whit has a perfect life onscreen as well as behind the camera. As of now, he is living a fulfilling family life with his wife and beautiful little angels whilst enjoying his successful career.

Whit, a graduate of San Francisco State University, worked for CBS News from 2009 to 2012. After departing CBS Network, he joined KNBC in 2012 as a general assignment reporter. But in December 2017, he announced that he was leaving KNBC to pursue his other interests.

The newscaster, who stands at the height of 6 feet, joined on-air on ABC-TV’s World News Tonight in March 2018 and currently serves the channel.
