American actor Manish Dayal made his vows to his wife in a spectacular & traditional way. And he not only exchanged vows for the sake of it, but he is living by them!

The Orangeburg, California-native is an actor best known for his performance on the movie, The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014) as well as the documentary film, Vicero’s House (2017).

Manish Dayal’s Short Bio: Family, Age, Height, Ethnicity, Acting

Born on 17 June 1983, Manish Patel, age 35, had a unique way of honoring his grandfather--by using his grandfather’s first name, Dayal, as his stage surname.

He grew up in South Carolina as the son of Indian parents Sudhir and Hema Patel. He has three siblings with two older ones and another younger.

Dayal possesses the ethnicity of Gujarati Indian and possesses shorter height than an average American.

He attended Heathwood Hall Episcopal School for high school whereas he went to college at George Washington University. He graduated in 2005 and after that decided to move to New York to pursue his career as an actor.

Five years later, he moved to Los Angeles where he presently resides.

Manish Dayal’s Career: The Hundred Foot Journey, 90210

Dayal started his entertainment career appearing in several national commercials including for McDonald, Windows, Nintendo, and Domino’s Pizza. After that, he performed in an off-Broadway production of Rafta, Rafta in 2008.

Taking small roles before achieving the prominent role in 2014, Manish featured in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Paula van der Oest’s Domino Effect.

After that, he earned guest starring roles on CSI: Las Vegas. Later, he went on to portray the role of Hal, a code-breaking computer analyst on AMC series, Rubicon.

Apart from that, the 35-year-old actor has also starred in the romantic comedy film called Walkaway. In 2010 and 2011, he starred as Ravi on NBC’s comedy series, Outsourced.

In the third and fourth seasons of The CW’s 90210, he played a college student suffering from cancer named Raj Kher.

In 2014, Dayal’s most significant role up to date came where he starred as Hassan Kadam in the movie, The Hundred Foot Journey, alongside legendary British actress Helen Mirren.

Manish is happily married to his wife, Sneha Patel. They got married in May 2015 with the couple even sharing a son from their weddings.

Before getting married, Manish and his wife were dating each other as boyfriend-girlfriend. They were quite an adorable couple whenever they shared a picture of their date night or any regular night when they were together.

Back on 28 June 2014, when the pair were dating, Manish shared a picture of his then-girlfriend, a lover of chocolate, jokingly writing in the caption, stating, “Don't mess with the chocolate or she'll cut you.”

Their dating life had been foreshadowing a wedding long before they decided to get engaged and so forth because of their chemistry and their unconditional love for each other.

After turning their dating life into an engagement, Manish married Sneha on 2 May 2015 in Toronto. A company called Weddings In Style decorated the event that saw Manish and Sneha turn husband and wife from lovers.

The wedding had the traditional Indian theme, with not just the couple but the family, guests, and the relatives were all draped in cultural attires.

The men generally wear a dress called kurtha whereas the women were Saarees. His wife, Sneha was dressed up in a beautiful red Saree, whereas he wore a green kurta.

Indian weddings generally take place in several spans of days and new attire is worn each day, which symbolizes the meaning of marriage and the period that follows it.

Manish and Sneha also had a complete set of events from Haldi, Sangeet, Mehendi To Garba before finally getting married. 

As of 2018, the husband & wife have been enjoying a beautiful marriage together and show no signs of slowing down!
