American sports reporter Jamie Hersch started dating her future husband in 2006. She made the best decision in her life, marrying him six years later.

The Minnesota native is a well-noticed face among the viewers of NHL and MLB network as she currently serves as the studio host and reporter for both the networks. Moreover, Jamie recently appeared as a host of MLB's highlight show, Quick Pitch in June 2018 sharing screen space with another regular anchor Kelly Nash and reporter Heidi Watney.

Jamie Hersch's Bio: Into Sports From Early Age

The charming media personality was born 25 May 1987 to a musician father, James, and Candy Hersch. She is one-half of two siblings in the family and has a brother. Her bio reveals that she was exposed to sports especially hockey and baseball from her early childhood.

Jamie went to Champlin Park High School to pursue her high school education. She earned her bachelors degree from the University of Southern California, where she graduated in Broadcast Journalism and Religion in 2009.

During her time at the university, she got involved with many on-campus associations, including the Annenberg TV News, which was her very first broadcast experience. Furthermore, she managed to establish herself as a student ambassador during her stay at the college.

As Hersch had a lot of interests in the sport since her childhood, she then decided to achieve her career in sports journalism. 

Her Broadcasting Career That Started With Annenberg TV

Jamie started her broadcasting career from Annenberg TV news in 2006, where she was involved in reporting, anchoring and producing the news for three years. She was a weekend sports anchor and reporter for WKOW-TV until 2013.

Joining FOX Sports in 2013 was the milestone in her career, where she covered the baseball and hockey tournaments of Minnesota Twins, Wild, and Gopher Hockey. She worked as a studio host and sideline reporter for FOX Sports for more than two years.

Jamie then added to her working experience with her second job as a football and hockey reporter with the Big Ten Network in September 2015. 

As of 2018, she is involved in anchoring various sports shows in NHL and MLB network joining in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Besides these two programs, Jamie also presents NHL Tonight not a regular basis but occasionally and supplements by providing the analysis of games and interview of players.

Jamie Wishes Husband Matt On Sixth Wedding Anniversary

Jamie currently shares the conjugal bond with her husband Matt Burkhard, who she got married with on 15 June 2012. Matt is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he earned a degree in BS, Kinesiology

The couple starting dating in April 2006 and tied the knot after six years of their relationship.

She enjoys her joyous moments with Matt and often shares those moments in her Instagram. Most recently, on the occasion of Valentine's day 2018, she uploaded a picture with her husband mentioning him as her funny valentine. 

In addition to that, the duo recently celebrated their sixth marriage anniversary on 15 June 2018. Marking the special occasion, sho took to her Instagram and shared that she made the best decision of her life getting married to him six years ago.

Further, she wished anniversary to her "best partner", who keeps her laughing and adventuring and imagining the possibilities of their fabulous life together.
