American primitive survival expert Matt Graham was so in love with the wild that he might have had any room for love for a wife or the need for a married life.

The North Dakota native entered the world of TV survival shows with Discovery Channel's Dude, You're Screwed and then rose to fame with Discovery's Dual Survival. Matt recently also appeared on National Geographic's Live Free or Die.

Matt Graham Started To Love Wilderness From Early Age

Born on 8 August 1974, in Pierre North Dakota, Matt started his journey into the wild, away from the civilization, at the age of 15 as a triathlete and rock climber. By the age of 23, Matt had run 1700 miles of Pacific Crest Trail in 58 days.

Matt lives in remote Utah, away from mainstream civilization, in the primitive shelters.

Matt Graham's Expertise On Survival Earned Him Massive Net Worth

Matt’s survival skills eventually earned him fame and net worth, when he was cast to replace Cody Lundin, in Discovery Channel’s survival-themed reality series, Dual Survival. Matt first appeared as the mid-season replacement for Lundin in the fourth season of the Dual Survival, but then went on to star in the next two seasons.

Prior to the Dual Survival, Matt had starred in another survival show of the Discovery Channel, Dude, You’re Screwed. He recently joined Nat Geo’s Live Free or Die, another survival show, but this time in more remote settlements, rather than on outright wilderness.

As far as Matt’s personal life is concerned, there is little to no information about it. Well into his middle age, Matt seems more in love with the wild and the dangers lurking within it, than to a wife or the idea of peaceful married life.
