American college football analyst Joey Galloway has gone on from being a professional football player to football analyst. And within the time he has gained huge fame among his viewers who are interested in his personal life as well. But once stating that he was a father via his Twitter back in 2015, he hasn’t provided any insight on his personal life besides that.

The Ohio native is a former football wide receiver in the National Football League finishing the career with 10,950 receiving yards and 77 touchdowns. He now appears as a college football analyst for the ESPN network.

He played college football at Ohio State. He is the NFL's career leader in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns among players to not be selected for a Pro Bowl.

Joey was born as Joseph Scott Galloway on 20 November 1971 to parents, Carolyn and James Galloway.

He graduated high school from Bellaire High School and later went on to complete his graduation from Ohio State in 1995 with a degree in business marketing.

From his high school days he was interested in football and during his senior year, he caught 52 passes for 1208 yards and eight touchdowns for the Bellaire football team.

Besides football, he was also an All-Ohio choice in basketball and won the state championship in both the 100 and 200-meter dash in track.

He ended his college career fourth in both receptions with 108 and receiving yards with 1,894, and second in touchdown receptions with 19.

Joey Galloway’s Early Career As NFL Player

Talking about his professional career, he started as an American football player at the age of 24, joining the Seattle Seahawks in 1995. He played for five seasons, and the club sold him to Dallas Cowboys in 2000.

After playing 48 games for the team, he was traded to Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2004. However, he suffered an injury and was inactive for the first six games of the season.

In 2009, he was released from Tampa Bay Buccaneers and joined New England Patriots as a free agent. Joey, who stands at the height of 5 feet 11 inches (1.8 meters), was associated with Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins at the end of his professional football career.

Joey's Post Football Career On ESPN; What Is He Doing Now?

After the end of his football career in 2010, Joey joined ESPN as a college football analyst at the start of the 2011 college football season.

He used to appear as a game analyst alongside play-by-play commentator Beth Mowins and reporter Paul Carcaterra. He later came to the ESPN studio analyzing the college football games.

Joey now appears alongside analysts Adnan Virk and Jesse Palmer covering and analyzing the college football games on ESPN. Recently, ESPN announced the extension of his contract in July 2018.

The professional career of Joey, aged 46 is clear-as-crystal to his fans and followers, but his family life is still inside the dark. However, his post on Twitter divulges that he is a married man and has a child from his wife.

Back in May 2013, he had a series of married-related conversation with a former American football tight end, Anthony Becht on Twitter. At the end of the conversation, Anthony even asked him whether he is married, but  Joey did not reply.

But, Joey made a tweet in August 2015 stating that he has extended his family being a father. However, he is yet to reveal the identity of his child and his wife.
