Ever since joking on Twitter about posing for gay fans, Jeff Brazier's sexuality has been questioned on the online media portals and has become a topic of discussion for the general public. However, the handsome grief counselor is intent on providing a sharp rebuttal to the gay rumors his way. 

Jeff Brazier has many labels which can be used to describe him. He works as a grief counselor, is a regular column writer for The Mirror, played professional football and appeared as a contestant in various reality shows, Dancing On Ice, Celebrity Total Wipeout and Tipping point: Lucky Stars. As of 2018, he is a guest host for ITV and previously was affiliated with Channel 5 as a co-host of hit show Ok! TV.

Jeff Brazier's Career Swerved From Football To Hosting

Born on 27 May 1979, Jeff started his career as a footballer and was in the books of soccer team West Ham United during his teenage years. However, unable to cut with The Hammers, he wandered through the lower leagues of English football before hanging up his boots. And his showbiz career started after he appeared in the reality show ShipWrecked in Channel4 in 2001.

After three years he rose to fame after contesting British reality show Celebrity Wife Swap with his then-girlfriend Jade Goody. His reality show career The farm earned him the first win which aired on Channel 5. 

Similarly, he swapped contesting for hosting in 2006 when he hosted the reality show Finders Keepers. He also co-hosted the finals of  I'm a Celebrity... Get Me out of Here! Now in 2006. Moreover, he hosted the nationwide tour of  The X Factor Live Tour continually for five years from 2005 to 2010. After a brief stint with Channel 5 as co-host of Ok! TV along with Jenny Frost, he is currently serving as a guest host of ITV's Sunday Scoop and This Morning.

Apart from hosting, Jeff is a regular columnist for the Daily Mirror and blogs online for the Birmingham Clothes Show Live. 

Jeff Brazier Faced Several Assumptions After Partner's Death

Personal traumas were to be a feature for the footballer turned TV star after his ex-girlfriend died of cervical cancer in 2009 leaving him with full custody of the two sons the couple shared from their relation. 

Then the Loose @ 5:30 presenter was involved in a romantic relationship with the glamour model, Nicola Tappenden in 2011. The romantic link between the pair however petered out after dating for two years. 

In 2011, Jeff courted controversy after being accused of homophobically insulting openly gay Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner. Likewise, in 2014, he was involved in a meaty conversation with a gay fan which resulted in the star posting a semi-naked photo in his Twitter. The conversation sparked rumors about the actor being a gay, and what's more, lack of partner and two failed relationship proved a catalyst to the gay stories.

However, the star provided a strong response to the rumors after an appearance in ITV's Loose Women.

Gay Rumors Crumbles After Announcement Of Marriage

Speaking on ITV's Loose Women in February 2018, Jeff revealed that he was planning to get married to his longtime partner turned fiancée Kate Dwyer.

Further opening about the couple's relationship, he said that Kate had been a great partner for him. He then added that despite having lots of pressure on her; Kate had handled the kids all too well after their mother's tragic pass. He also disclosed a potential wedding venue after announcing that the couple was thinking of getting married abroad. 

When asked if he was planning to have kids with his wife-to-be figure, Jeff honestly replied that it would be Kate's decision on kids. However, he shared that he would like to have a daughter in the future. 

 With a lovely family and flanked by a loving and caring wife like figure, the gay rumors which have dogged the star seem to be a distant past.

Jeff Brazier Got Married: Wife Still Emotional Over Step-Sons' Speech

It was on 15 September 2018 that Jeff tied the knot with Kate Dwyer in a romantic Portuguese cliff-top wedding ceremony. He got married with his sons acting as best men in the Algarve's Tivoli Carvoeiro resort.

The two looked absolutely stunning in their wedding attires and Jeff's sons suited up neatly to impress.

Then there was the moment when Kate bawled her eyes out when Jeff's sons delivered the wedding speech with quite some heartfelt words. And two months after the wedding, Kate was still emotional over the speech as she shared a post on her Instagram suggesting how beautifully the words were put together.

This was without a doubt the single most special moment of my life with these boys so far. The only opinion that matters are theirs and to see them stand up and tell everyone that I am getting it right (most of the time) was nothing short of life-affirming for me. (-Kate wrote on Instagram)

Aww, isn't that sweet? For a step-mother to be that admired by her step-children is a great achievement. Anyway, Jeff and Kate are more than happy relishing their married life with sons right now. And we sure hope to see another addition coming in the future.
