American radio personality Anthony Cumia didn't waste a single moment to delve into another relationship after parting ways with his wife, but he couldn't choose a typical affair with his girlfriend, embracing some not-so-nice allegations.

Anthony Cumia is well known for co-hosting the Opie and Anthony radio show alongside Gregg ‘Opie’ Hughes that aired from 1995 to 2014, with Jim Norton joining from 2011.

In February 2001, Anthony co-hosted the pregame show for Vince McMahon’s startup football league, XFL Gameday alongside Gregg Opie for four weeks.

Anthony Cumia’s Short Bio: 'Twice Fired' Radio Host's Career

Born on 26 April 1961, Anthony Cumia was raised in Elwood, Town of Huntington alongside two siblings, Dawn and Joe.

He started the band, Rotgut with his brother Joe and recorded their first ever song entitled, Gonna Electric Shock OJ, that was a significant hit.

It was in September 1994 when Gregg invited Anthony to the studio to perform the song live and Anthony started to produce comedy bits for Gregg and the station’s morning show soon after.

In March 1995, Anthony and Gregg accepted an offer to host at WAAF in Boston, Massachusetts and launched Opie and Anthony.

The pair got fired in April 1998 for an April Fools Prank that had listeners believe Thomas Menino had died in an accident, transporting a young female Haitian prostitute.

They began at WNEW in June 1998 in New York, becoming a top 10-afternoon drive show in two years.

The show developed when comedian Jim Norton joined as a co-host in 2001 and by 2002 Opie and Anthony syndicated on 17 stations nationwide.

The show got canceled over their ‘Sex for Sam 3’ segment in August 2002 and returned to the air on XM Satellite Radio in October 2004. It was in July 2014 that Anthony got fired by SiriusXM for tweeting about the company as racially-charged and hate-filled.

But Anthony made a comeback to his career as he started his new show, The Artie and Anthony Show in 2017 alongside Artie Lange.

Anthony embraced an unsuccessful marriage with his ex-wife, Jennifer Cumia after he cheated on her with several women. During an interview with New York Post, Anthony confessed on having affairs while being married.

They were married for 12 long years and hadn't expected to lose the spark in their relationship, but things aren't always on one's favor.

Having gone through an unloyal marriage, Anthony started playing with fire as he exchanged several girlfriends in short time spans.

Anthony's Assaultive Relationship With Girlfriend, Danielle Brand

After his divorce, he started dating girlfriend, Danielle Brand who got the major spotlight as she claimed that she was regularly assaulted by Anthony and even had her hand broken once.

She shared a video of her informing that she called the police and showed her broken hand while screaming at Anthony to get away from her.

The police arrived while Anthony was searching for one of his guns and threatening his girlfriend to tell the cops that it was just an accident.

But the next morning, Anthony got arrested and was charged with strangulation in the second degree, criminal mischief in the third and fourth degree, and assault in the third degree. He pleaded not guilty and he was released on his recognizance but was ordered to stay away from Danielle.

Anthony hasn’t been seen with any other women since and there are no reports on him trying to get back to his ex-wife as well.Â
