American talk show host Sean Hannity was enjoying quite a happy marriage until he was engulfed in sexual misconduct charge--which left people thinking if his marital race with his wife of more than two decades was run.

The New York-native is best known for hosting the nationally syndicated talk radio show, The Sean Hannity Show and the cable news show, Hannity on Fox News. When Alan Colmes announced his departure from Hannity & Colmes in November 2008, Sean took over the time slot for his new show, Hannity.

The 56-year-old has received several awards and honors, including the honorary degree from Liberty University.

Sean Hannity’s Bio: Age, Siblings, Education

Born on 30 December 1961, Sean Patrick Hannity was raised in Franklin Square, New York by parents, Lillian and Hugh Hannity. He is the youngest of his four siblings.

He went to Sacred Heart Seminary in Hempstead, New York for his middle school years and St. Pius X Preparatory Seminary high school in Uniondale, New York. He later attended New York University, UC Santa Barbara, and Adelphi University.

Sean Hannity's Career

The 56-year-old host started his career by hosting his first talk radio show at UC Santa Barbara, KCSB-FM in 1989. He left KCSB and got hired by Radio station WVNN in Athens, Alabama to be the afternoon talk show host.

Sean was hired to host Hannity and LTBD (Liberal To Be Determined) in September 1996 by Fox News co-founder Roger Ailes. He eventually began a new Sunday night television show, Hannity’s America in January 2007.

Sean doesn’t necessarily have a smooth hosting career as he was involved in a feud with Jimmy Kimmel which consequently ended after Jimmy made a joke that offended several gay people.

Not only that, he has also faced a lot of flak for his support and endorsement of Donald Trump as the president and is one of the staunchest allies of the POTUS.

Sean’s Adoration for His Wife & Children

The news host first met his wife, Jill Rhodes in Huntsville when the two attended a mayoral debate in 1992. Jill was a newspaper columnist back then, and the pair was well acquainted through phone calls regarding work for a year before the actual meeting.

By 1993, Sean and his wife were already married, and they had their son, Patrick in 1999 and daughter, Merri in 2002.

Sean shows immense love for his wife as he even dedicated his first book, Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty over Liberalism to her while referring to her as the love of his life.

He remained grateful for his family’s support in the book and called his kids the greatest gift God ever gave to him. He further added,

The most important acknowledgment I make is to my family - my wife, Jill and my two children, Patrick and Kelly, to whom I dedicate this book.

They are the ones who put up with the long work hours I needed to invest in this project. They are the ones who make it worth doing - and who make my life complete and happy on more levels than I can explain. I am blessed to have them in my life.

Little did he know, his book would turn out to be a best seller, receiving massive attention and praises.

Did Sean’s Married Life Topple After Sexual Misconduct Claims?

Sean and his wife were embracing a beautiful relationship until Sean had to confront a sexual misconduct. At the time when his former boss--Fox News' chairman and CEO Roger Ailes was already battling with similar claims. 

In 2017, Debbie Schlussel, a regular guest at Sean’s show, put forward sexual misconduct against Sean. During an interview in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was asked if anyone in the network had made her feel uncomfortable.

Her response aimed at Sean-- who 'invited her' to go back to his hotel repeatedly during a book signing event in Detroit.

After the story received national attention, Debbie clarified her comments and insisted that she only thought his behavior was weird and creepy, however, would never accuse him of sexual harassment as it has a different meaning under the law.

Hannity defended himself by stating that Debbie had been lying about him for over a decade and she had a history of creating false statements against him to smear his reputation.
