Marriage is something special for 46-year-old Dana Jacobson. She has made up plans regarding her future husband so, marrying the wrong person is not an alternative for her.

American sportscaster Dana Jacobson works with CBS on Sports Network since 2013. Before that, she had been an anchor at ESPN in December 2002. She serves as a regular contributor on the CBS's NFL Today, and a host on We Need To Talk. In June 2018, she joined the cast of Saturday edition of CBS This Morning alongside co-hosts, Anthony Mason and Michelle Miller.

Dana Jacobson's Bio: Upbringing With Family, Education

The veteran reporter was born on 5th of November 1971 in Michigan, the United States. She was raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan in a Jewish family.

Dana pursued her high school education at Andover High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and subsequently attended and graduated from Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa, in 1989.

At the age of 22, she got graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from the University of Michigan in 1993.

Dana's Impressive Salary As Sports Anchor

Dana began her career working in Television in Traverse City.  Later she joined the CBS in 2013 after ten years at ESPN, where in December 2002 she started as an ESPNEWS anchor and soon became a regular anchor on SportsCenter.

In March 2005, she became the co-host of Cold Pizza and transitioned with the show as it became ESPN First Take. Dana provided sideline reporting for ESPN's coverage of NBA Sunday night games.  

Likewise, on 26 December 2011, Jacobson announced that she would be leaving First Take. And On 27 March 2012, USA Today announced that Jacobson would leave ESPN when her contract expires at the end of April. 

Dana joined CBS Sports and the cast of Sports Radio's morning show TBD in the AM in January 2013, co-hosting along with Tiki Barber and Brandon Tierney.

Dana, in her Twitter post, has been open about her plans regarding marriage. She has been mentioning her plans for her wedding and how she wants her future husband to be. 

On a Twitter post of 31 March 2012, she revealed that she was single, ready to mingle but enjoying her singlehood to the most at the same time. She wrote:

no boyfriend right now, no. Enjoying unattached singledom

With that, she even mentioned that she would love to get married but only if she finds the right guy. Without any relationship controversy in the past, seems like Dana hasn’t found her right guy.

Engaged To Celtics Announcer Sean Grande

It looks like Dana has got a perfect partner to spend her life. She is now engaged to get married to Celtics Announcer Sean Grande. She confirmed the news of their engagement during an appearance on a weekday edition of CBS This Morning in October 2018.

Pointing out her ring, co-host, Gayle King said at the anchor desk that he just heard that Dana got engaged. She excitingly replied that she did it and the ring is beautiful.

Further, she stated that the proposal made by Sean was "perfect" and "magical" and she is a fortunate lady to get him as a life partner. Dana also shared the delightful news to her Instagram followers on 12th October 2018.

The duo has been together for about two and a half years being known each other for some time. They first met around 2010, when Dane was the host of the ESPN talk show First Take, and “pseudo-worked together” at both CBS and what was then Spike TV in 2014 and 2015. Her fiance, Sean is the longtime radio play-by-play announcer for the Boston Celtics. He also serves as a broadcaster on Fox Sports.
