Sebastian was born on 13 August 1982 in Constanta, Romania. To say Sebastian had an easy upbringing is to undermine the struggle he faced as a child growing up in a divorced household. His parents had separated when he was just two years old.

Following the outbreak of the Romanian Revolution in 1990, he moved to Vienna, Austria with his mother, Georgeta Orloveschi, who was a pianist. They later moved to the United States.

The 35-year-old actor attended Rockland County Day School, before enrolling in Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts. He spent a year abroad studying acting at Shakespear Globe Theatre in London, UK.  

Sebastian Stan's Filmography Beyond MCU Franchise

Sebastian, who became a United States citizen in 2002, had his first role on television series Law & Order around 2003. After performing in several films and televisions including, The Covenant and Gossip Girl, he landed a lead role in 2009 series Kings.

Besides the MCU’s movies, he has also appeared in films such as Gone, The Bronze, The Martian, Logan Lucky and ‘I, Tonya.’ On television, he has played in Gossip Girl, Kings, Once Upon a Time and Political Animals.

As of 2018, Sebastian is showing up in Karyn Kusama's new movie, Destroyer, that seems pretty intense while Bradley Whitford and Nicole Kidman try to right the old wrongs.

According to the movie synopsis, Erin Bell played by Nicole Kidman was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert resulting in a tragedy.

As the leader of the gang emerges for the second time years later, she works her way back with the remaining members and delves in a history of her own.

Sebastian is also co-starring alongside Toby Kebbell, Scoot McNairy, and Tatiana Maslany in the December movie. Adding to that, he is also starring in a drama that is being directed by Drake Doremus that is shooting in Los Angeles.

The Drake Doremus drama is about an artist who dumps her longtime boyfriend to enjoy a break from romantic affairs. But that doesn't last long as she soon finds herself in not one, but two passionate romances. 

While Sebastian will be playing a major role in this drama, he is also surrounded by top actors Shamier Anderson, Shailene Woodley, and Jamie Dornan.

His most significant career breakthrough came in 2010 when he signed a nine-picture contract with MCU to portray Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier in Captain America: The First Avenger.

Afterward, he appeared in MCU’s several movies such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Ant-Man (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Black Panther (2018) and in Avengers: Infinity War (2018).

In the series Captain America, the chemistry between Sebastian Stan ‘Bulky’ and Chris Evan ‘Steve’ was palpable, and the people outside the fandom community began paying attention to their bonding.

The 35-years-old has been romantically linked with beautiful actresses from Hollywood.

Back in 2008, Stan reportedly dated Leighton Meester, his Gossip Girl costar, for over two years before she called off the relationship in 2010.

After his breakup with Leighton, he reportedly started dating the former Glee star, Dianna Agron. The duo started seeing each other in May 2011 but split in December the same year due to the long-distance relationship. Dianna was always worried that he was cheating on her while he went off for shooting his films.

He then dated his Once Upon a Time co-star, Jennifer Morrison in the summer of 2012. However, the fairytale ended almost one year later in July 2013.

It’s not clear whether the two are still dating each other or not. But that could just not be true as the pair hasn’t been seen together since 2016, and Sebastian’s Instagram also doesn’t give any clues about their relationship.

He’s been very quiet about his personal life during interviews over the years and divulges very less information about his relationships. As of now, it's not clear whether he is dating or not but seems like he is possibly single.
