John Mulaney made headlines just days ago for his divorce with wife of six years Anna Marie. Now, he's back in the spotlight after news broke that the comedian already has another woman in his life.

Mulaney and Munn Are Dating

The source confirmed that the relationship was fairly new and that the couple is taking it slow for the time being. Furthermore, they revealed that Mulaney and Munn met at a church in Los Angeles. 

The outlet tried to get in touch with the couple's representatives, but they could not be reached for a comment on the matter. 

The couple has remained close friends in the public eye for several years now. The actress even sent him well wishes when he checked into rehab back in December 2020. 

Mulaney has been battling with substance abuse for decades and went to rehab after his latest relapse.

"Sending SO MUCH love and support to John Mulaney. You got this," she had tweeted at the time.

Mulaney's History with Substance Abuse

Mulaney started drinking alcohol at the age of 13 and soon after was abusing drugs. In a conversation with Esquire, he admitted that he never liked marijuana but he did love cocaine.

Mulaney had told the outlet back in 2019 that he'd quit cocaine and alcohol in 2005 and had been sober since. Evidently, he slipped back sometime thereafter. 

He Is Back Onstage

After a 60-day stint in rehab, he returned in February 2021. He took to the stage earlier this week for his first show at the City Winery in New York on Monday, May 10. 

According to a tweet from David Fear, a senior editor at Rolling Stone Magazine, the 90-minute set was mostly drawn around Mulaney's intervention and rehab experience. The words he used to describe the show were, "Hilarious, harrowing, brave, historic."

Mulaney Confirmed Divorce a Few Days Ago

A representative for Mulaney spoke to Page 6 on May 10, 2021, to confirm his divorce from Marie. The source further explained that Mulaney had no further comments to make and that he was focusing solely on his recovery and getting back to work. 

He did not disclose the reason for their divorce either. As for his ex-wife, she also made a statement via a spokesperson. 

She explained that despite being heartbroken at Mulaney's decision to end the marriage, she still wished him support and success as he continues on his road to recovery. She has not given any hints on the reason behind their divorce either.
