Born on 20 October 1989 in Atlanta, Ellison was raised up in the DC after her family shifted from Atlanta to Washington DC. 

She graduated in major English from the Wofford College, South Carolina in 2012. After the graduation, she joined the Internet-based magazine The Washington Free Beacon as a staff writer.

The magazine specialized in writing about the US Congress, which led Ellison to take up a keen interest in politics. 

After learning her trade with the magazine, she joined WUSA and served as a general assignment reporter with the CBS affiliated network.

The beautiful reporter became an internet sensation after randomly interviewing one of the greatest ice hockey players, Alexander Ovechkin during the 2016 blizzard that hit the whole of the states.

At the Fox News, she has covered many significant events and was the chief reporter covering the May Day protests against the President Trump's administration.

“We stand in strong solidarity with CNN for the right to full access for our journalists as part of a free and unfettered press.”
