American dancer, model, and television host Cheryl Burke announced her engagement with boyfriend and they have been making plans for their wedding date and destination.

The California native is best known for her appearance on ABC's reality show, Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). She became the first female contestant to win the show and also the first to win twice and consecutively in 2006. She also appeared in the ending season of Lifetime's reality series, Dance Moms in 2017, replacing Abby Lee Miller, the principal cast member of the show.

The DWTS star was born on 3rd May 1984 to parents Sherri Charito and Stephen Burke. She belongs to a mixed ethnicity as her father is Irish-Russian and mother is of Philipino descent.

Her father, Stephen died on 9th March 2018, and her mother lives with her stepfather. She got reunited with her long-lost stepsister, Ina Burke after the death of her father in July 2018.
