American actor, producer, and comedian Sal Vulcano is well known for his hilarious stand-up routines and TV series. Because of his comic career, he has been in the spotlight for over a decade whether for his performances for Impractical Jokers or for The Tenderloins—a comedy troupe trio consisting of Joe Gatto, Brian Quinn, and James Muray.

There are still gay rumors surrounding Vulcano, and it all stemmed from his appearance on the Daytime Talk Show with Sally Jessy. 

There, he opened up about being gay, and immediately after his announcement, James Murray also came out of the closet.

However, as soon as Murray said he was gay, Vulcano revealed he lied.

“It feels great that my best friend James has come out of the closet. That’s the reason I brought him here today. You see, I am not gay, but I knew if I said I was gay, he’d admit that he was gay.”

It was a hot topic at the time, but it was later revealed that it was another one of the impractical jokes. In reality, neither Murray nor Vulcano is gay.

While there are no reports of Vulcano opening up about whether he is married, a user on Tumblr shared an interesting story regarding the comic that provided evidence that Sal Vulcano was married to Francesca Muffaletto. While there was nothing about the comic’s wedding itself in the story, it has an in-depth description of what happened during the event.  

The user claimed they were attending Vulcano’s show in Boston, where the audience spotted the Impractical Jokers star wearing a wedding ring.

And someone from the audience yelled something about the ring and the comic supposedly confirmed he was married.

“He talked a bit about how he generally keeps those kinds of things private, but since it was brought up, he’d say something. He just talked briefly about how long they have been together (8 years) and how much he loves her. I am super happy for him. May they have many happy years together,” the fan testified.

The user added that Vulcano said his wife was present for the show, but they didn’t see her personally.

" And how much he loves her - that kind of thing. Everyone cheered for him, and that was on the wedding topic. He did say she was there - i didn't stand up and try to look or anything," he recalled after another fan posted on the original post that he couldn't believe Vulcano would breach his privacy in such a way.

However, still this day, there aren't details about his alleged wife Francesca Muffaletto. Only a picture on Muffaletto’s Facebook from January 2017 could be discovered, where she and Vulcano are seen celebrating someone’s 30th birthday. 

While Vulcano’s face cannot be clearly seen in the picture, the man in the picture has the Celtic Cross tattooed on his right wrist, which matches perfectly with Vulcano’s tattoo.

Still, it’s not clear when Sal Vulcano married Francesca Muffaletto but there’s a good chance that they held their wedding on 8 September 2019.

As per reports, Muffaletto was looking forward to celebrating her wedding on the aforementioned date, which was featured on a wishlist registry under her name on the Williams Sonoma website.

Vulcano thanked Kelly for his words and commented about his fiancee. “Yeah, she’s terrific,” he gushed.

Though the comic shared little about his partner, Eleonor Kerrigan, who was also on the podcast, called Vulcano's fiancee “an amazing dancer.”
