Everything We Know About Adele’s Boyfriend Rich Paul

Rich Paul was never an unknown figure, but the news about him moving in with Adele made many headlines. It also piqued people's interest in his past and present in things other than romance.

Paul, however, has never really shared too much, especially about his personal life. There's a bit more to know about the NBA dealmaker than what is seen at first glance, though.

Here are a few things you probably knew and some you probably didn't about LeBron James's agent and friend.

Rich Paul’s Girlfriend Is Adele

Paul and Adele have known each other for a few years now. But they never really made moves romantically until early 2021.

He was the first one to approach her but unconventionally. Instead of just asking her out on a date, he invited her to a "business meeting."

Adele did not buy into the ruse but went with it anyway. It was the first time they had hung out by themselves, and things took off from there.

Their first time together in public came on July 17, at an NBA Finals game, and made things Instagram official in September.

About a year after their first date, the couple moved in together. They spent $58 million on Sylvester Stallone's Beverly Hills mega-mansion, despite the singer already owning three homes in the area.

Even before they moved in, they already had engagement rumors surrounding them.

In February 2022, while performing at the BRIT Awards, she wore a massive pear-shaped ring. That started engagement rumors, but neither Adele nor Paul have confirmed anything.

Appearing on The Graham Norton Show later that month, she was coy in talking about the ring and the speculations it drummed up. "As if I would ever tell anyone if I was or wasn't," she told Norton.

Does Rich Paul Have Kids?

Paul has never married, but he has three kids from his previous relationships. Not much is known about them, but he has posted about his one daughter, Reonna Paul.

Going by her Instagram birthday post on April 19, 2022, Reonna is 20 years old. She graduated high school in May 2020 and since seemed to have taken up Instagram modeling for the time being.

He is also friendly with Adele's son, Angelo, whom she had with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki.

Rich Paul and Adele Are up for More Kids

Since officially announcing their relationship, the couple has done a few interviews. Adele's sit-down with Oprah Winfrey in November 2021 was the one of her most revealing when it came to her new relationship.

While talking about Angelo, she mentioned she was open to having more kids with Paul.

"I would like more children," she told Winfrey. She did not think it would be a big deal if they did not have any kids of their own, but she wanted to.

Rich Paul’s Previous Girlfriend

Before Adele, Paul was in a relationship with Tobey Maguire's ex wife, Jennifer Meyer. They started going out in late 2018 and first sparked dating rumors in January 2019 after being spotted in Beverly Hills.

Only after six months of dating, Us Weekly reported in May 2019 that it was "on" between the two. They had spent Mother's Day together with her family and friends, and they were supportive of their relationship.

However, there's no news on when their romance fizzled out.

Besides this, there's nothing available about who Paul had his three kids with and if they are the same or different women.

About Rich Paul’s Parents and Childhood

Born on December 16, 1981, in Glenville, Cleveland, Ohio, Paul is one of four kids in his family. His father, Rich Paul Sr., and mother, Peaches, raised him in a one-bedroom apartment, at least until his father's death.

In 1999, while he was away attending college at the University of Akron, his father got diagnosed with intestinal cancer. He died in a few months, and he dropped out soon after.

His mother, Peaches, was addicted to drugs, and mostly could not take care of him or his siblings. At 10, he went to live with his grandmother a few blocks away. Peaches later got clean but died in 2016.

Besides turbulent family life, he also had a dangerous neighborhood growing up. There was gun violence and casualties regularly, all of which he survived.

By 2002, he had started a business selling throwback jerseys. That year, he met James. They struck up a friendship, and things took off for him from there.

Now, he runs Klutch Sports Group, a sports management company. His clients include James, Anthony Davis, and a few other NBA stars.
