Actor Paul Rudd has been in the industry for over three decades now.

Rudd rose to fame after his portrayal of Mike Hannigan on the 90s sitcom Friends and has appeared in several hits such as Romeo+Juliet and Clueless.

And although he has been in front of our eyes for what seems like a long time, Rudd, 52, has shown almost no signs of aging.

The actor was recently announced People's 2021 Sexiest Man Alive, and his fans are desperate to know the secret to his youthful look.

Some speculate he follows a strict vegan routine while the others religiously believe he is just Benjamin-buttoning. What is the secret to his gorgeous looks? Is Paul Rudd a vegetarian? Is Paul Rudd Vegan? Let's find out.

Insight into Paul Rudd’s Diet and Workout Routine

The Ant-Man star also told People he completely refrained from consuming alcohol for an entire year, to achieve his chiseled look in the movie.

He revealed that, while filming Ant-Man in 2015, he followed a no-carb diet and spent a lot of time in the gym. “My day was centred around fitness and health, and that was kind of a first,” he said.

He was supervised by New York-based trainer Richard Louis and took the help of nutritionist Carlon Colker.

His nutritionist revealed that they didn't go for an extreme diet for Rudd and instead just focused on cutting out bad carbs while adding plenty of protein and good fats into his diet.

Is Paul Rudd Vegan?

The rumors of Rudd being a vegan started from that one YouTube video of him acing the "Hot Ones" challenge.

Actor Paul Rudd went ahead and chose vegan wings made out of cauliflower for the challenge.

However, he isn't the first celebrity to opt for a vegan option as Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, Ariana GrandeMiley Cyrus, and Liam Hemsworth, amongst many others, have had vegan wings in the show.

Nevertheless, Rudd's choice of diet prompted a lot of questions from the fans on whether or not he was vegan. Many suspected the actor of doing so to maintain his youthful looks.

Rudd cleared the air when he stated, “I’m actually not a vegetarian but I’m trying to become better.”

The Clueless star confessed that he hadn't been able to abandon meat entirely from his diet but wanted to reduce its consumption.

He said he was trying to become more responsible towards his environment and consume more plant-based products.

Rudd was also reported to have consumed banana and almond milk instead of cow's milk while he was filming Ant-man back in 2015.

The actor was recently spotted at a party with what seems like a chicken thali in front of him, which proves he isn't vegan, at least not right now.
