On August 1, 2022, Nicki Minaj trended on Twitter after an Instagram account by the name of Kate Miller, who claimed to be her ex-assistant, made shocking allegations against her and her inner circle.

Miller took to Instagram stories and made wild claims about the rapper and her relationship with fellow artists, including Drake, Lil Wayne, Cardi B, Rihanna, JAY-Z, Beyoncé, Nas, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and her ex-boyfriend Meek Mill.

Nicki Minaj’s Alleged Ex-assistant Accuses Her of Wrongdoings

“I am Onika’s ex assistant who she fired for absolutely no proof of fraud with her bank account. I’m exposing all files I have from working for her. Along with the voice messages she sent me regarding many people, not just Cardi B,” wrote Miller.

Miller then accused Minaj of owing Internal Revenue Service (IRS) a whopping $173 million in unpaid taxes. She alleged Minaj paid to boost her song ‘Freaky Girl’ on the music chart.

She also revealed the name of Minaj's son, whom she had welcomed with her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty. The two had kept their child's name private, but Miller revealed the couple had named their son Amadeus Cyril Petty.

In a surprising turn, the anonymous account declined to post evidence to back up the claims, citing she had signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with Minaj’s publicist.

It is unconfirmed whether Miller was Minaj’s assistant, and the Kate Miller account has since been deleted.

Nicki Minaj Responds to Her Alleged Ex-assistant’s Accusations

Minaj dismissed all the claims made by her alleged ex-assistant as “dumb” and laughed at the idea of Miller trying to spill her tea online.

“I am mind blown that people are this dumb. That people really believe that I got somebody that works for me, and now they spilling tea. Chile. But it’s not even that; it’s the tea that sounds so dumb, and for a person to believe it, you would have to be dumb,” said the rapper.

She iterated that Miller “was clearly a kid” and asked netizens if they knew how much money one would have to make to owe that much money to the IRS.

The rapper added people needed to either get a job or invest in themselves and their future because those who plotted to take her down for so long have been unsuccessful.

Lastly, the rapper confidently let everyone know labels were paying their employees to emulate her, alluding she was not going anywhere. The drama comes right before Minaj is set to release her new single ‘Freaky Girl’ on August 12.
