Nessa Barrett Slams Accusations of Drug Use in TikTok Video
On February 15, Nessa Barrett uploaded a TikTok video for a brand deal in collaboration with Seat Geek.
Seat Geek is a mobile-focused ticket platform that enables users to buy and sell tickets for live sports, concerts, and theater events.
Barrett shared that she was surprising her friend and fellow TikTok star Avani with a ticket to Billie Eilish’s concert.
In the background, Avani and Charlie D’Amelio were obviously faking a fight for the tickets, and when Avani got it, D’Amelio screamed in frustration.
Nessa Barrett Accused of Doing Drugs
The three friends appeared to be having fun, but as usual, haters took to the comments section and rained on Barrett’s parade.

Netizens noticed that her voice was higher pitched than usual and questioned why she had changed it.
They also noticed that she was acting “a little weird,” and her personality had changed.
Unfortunately, some people began claiming that she had been drinking or using drugs.
A user named Andrew wrote, “she’s been taking molly.” while user cap122love wrote, “she’s drunk, she never had a voice like that.”
Immediately after, Barrett, who was not having it, replied to the comments.
She explained she was being sarcastic in the video, but netizens accused her of taking drugs.
“Something is really wrong w all of y’all,” wrote Barrett.
Nessa Barrett Was Previously Called Out for Smoking
Previously, Barrett was called out for smoking by the netizens.
The TikTok star had uploaded a carousel on Instagram with TikToker Cooper Noriega, which featured the duo smoking cigarettes together.
But as an influencer with young impressionable fans, users were not impressed at her new photos even though it had over 1 million likes.
These people criticized Barrett and said that the photo should not have been uploaded publicly.
One commenter wrote, “Yikes, promoting cigarette smoking to your young impressionable fans? Do better,”
Meanwhile, another user wrote “don’t smoke” and “cigs are bad for you.”
Barrett, however, stood by her new photos, and instead of apologizing, she took to her Instagram stories to defend herself.
The singer posted one of the comments by the haters with a picture of her and Cooper smoking and wrote, “you guys are so soft, lmao. Stfu because I don’t care.”
Nessa Barrett And Charlie D’Amelio
In the TikTok video mentioned above, fans also noticed that Barrett had gotten close to D’Amelio.
The duo was beefing back in 2020 because the ‘La Di Die’ singer had kissed Chase Hudson, D’Amelio’s boyfriend at the time.
Later, Hudson clarified that it happened before D’Amelio and he got together.
But D’Amelio went on a Twitter rant against the duo, which caused fans to hate Barrett and Hudson.
After that, things got strained between Barrett and D’Amelio until October 2021.
Barrett had collaborated with Steve Madden, and she sent one of her shoe designs to D’Amelio.
Many fans speculated that the duo had made up behind the scenes, but it was all just an assumption at that point.
However, the new TikTok video does confirm that the duo has buried the hatchet and become friends again.
