Kellie Shanygne Williams is an American actress known for her work on the American Sitcom  Family Matters. In the popular family show, Williams was seen in the role of Laura Lee Winslow.

The comedy show first aired on September 22, 1989, but eventually came to a closure on July 17, 1998. ABC first produced Family Matters, but later the production of the show was continued by television network CBS.

Williams, born in 1976 in Washinton, D.C., started her acting career in 1989 after she was offered to work in Family Matters.

However, before getting her big break on TV, Williams worked as a children's fashion model. The alumna of Howard University Children's Theatre was also seen on stage plays likes Joe Turner's Come and GoneThe Colored Museum, and Buffterfingers Angel

Despite starting her career at a tender age, the 45-year-old is still active in the entertainment business and was last seen in romance/comedy Christmas in Carolina in 2020.

After Family Matters, the American actress was seen working in several television shows such as Moesha (1996-1998), What About Joan (2000-2001)In the Mix (2005), and Eve (2006).

In 2001, actress Williams was seen in another ABC sitcom titled What About Japan alongside Joan Cusack, wife of famous actor John Cusack. Williams was also seen in the 2009 straight to DVD comedy/dance movie Steppin: The Movie.

Unfortunately, the 2 hours and 18-minute movie involving college students and step-dance competition turned out to be a failure as movie audiences showed little or no interest in the film.

Williams married Hannibal Jackson on September 05, 2009, in Fort Washinton, Maryland, after meeting him in 2007. As per Essence, their marriage ceremony was themed black and white.

The sweet couple marked their 10th-anniversary last year, and actress Williams was quick to post a lovely video on her social media page comprising pictures of the husband and wife.

The love-filled video was accompanied by the song 'The Making of You' by African-American singer-songwriter Curtis Mayfield.   

Her husband Jackson was previously working as a military reservist. However, he currently serves the position of President/Cheif Executive Officer at Y-Tech, LLC, an IT company based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. 

As per Jackson, his first name Hannibal, which seems unique and eye-catching, was given to Jackson by his father after the great African general, Hannibal Barca.

The happily married pair are parents to their two children, elder daughter Hannah Belle Jackson and son John Ervin Jackson. Their daughter was born in June 2010, while their son was born two years later in July 2012. 

Her son John Ervin is a school-level baseball player, but at the same time, details regarding her daughter Hannah Belle aren't known in public.

Williams is also known to share pictures of her husband and kids on her verified Instagram account. In one of the pictures posted on October 2019, her husband Hannibal was seen attending a baseball match with their children, where all three members of the family wore baseball outfits.

Overall, the family of four seems to be closely knit and bonded by love.
