Kathy Griffin and her husband Randy Bick gave their relationship enough time to breathe before marrying each other in 2020. The couple first started going out in 2011.

Bick has been through hell and back with Griffin. And she acknowledges her luck in finding him.

On Valentine's Day 2022, Griffin expressed her slight disbelief in finding someone so supportive and loving in her husband.

On February 14, 2022, Griffin, not unlike the rest of the world that day, took to Instagram to pen some touching words for her husband. She sent out a positive message to the one who had found love and those still remaining.

"I don't consider myself to be a very lucky person," she started the caption, possibly pointing to her horrible experiences with cancer and addiction over the years.

"[so] I can't believe that I turned out to be lucky in love after all." Griffin said right after about her husband.

The picture she posted was from, as she revealed, one of their first dates 11 years ago. In the snap, the couple posed for the camera while enjoying some ice cream.

It looked to be a casual date as both of them were dressed in non-formal attire. She was dressed in a white tank top and wearing rectangular glasses. Bick wore a grey hoodie and a blue t-shirt underneath.

Griffin then wished everyone a happy Valentine's Day and ended the caption as she sent out some good vibes, writing, "sending hope to the unlucky ones," followed by a kiss emoji.

The couple tied the knot on January 1, 2020. On her wedding announcement video, Lily Tomlin, the wedding officiator, jokingly revealed that their relationship had started out as a one-night stand but ended up being something greater.

They have had their difficult moments, like any other relationship. In 2018, Griffin announced on Twitter that she and Bich had broken up after seven years together. However, the break up did not last for very long.

Kathy Griffin's Husband Is Her Strength

Griffin has gone through her fair share of difficulties in her life. The sometimes-controversial comedian has dealt with drug addiction and cancer in recent years.

In 2017, she created the most controversy she has ever done after an outrageous photoshoot. In the shoot, she held a face mask that, as ABC News put it, "appeared to be bloodied with the then US President Donald Trump's likeness."

This generated a great backlash. Even her friend, CNN's Anderson Cooper, said her stunt was appalling and "clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate."

This photoshoot, which came around her 2017 comedy tour, sent her into a difficult period in her life. She got hooked on pills, which she first started taking after a doctor's prescription.

As 2020 approached, her condition worsened as she developed an addiction, a tendency to believe her haters, and suicidal thoughts. However, her spouse was right there.

After this, Bick helped her get treatment and go through a detox.

2021 brought her some additional health scares. She announced her diagnosis with stage one lung cancer on August 2, 2020.

Bick has been there for her through this chapter as well, and it looks like as she has gotten better, so has their relationship.
