Katheryn Winnick, renowned for her role as Lagertha in the television series Vikings, has long been tight-lipped about her personal life.

The last time she even hinted about her relationship was over a year back when she posted a candid picture of herself and her alleged boyfriend, Michael Persall.

In the snap, presumably captured at a party, she stood in front of Persall while partially hiding his face around her head. And while she held a glass in her hands, he had a bottle of water in his left hand.

The post was soon showered with hundreds of comments, where the actress' followers congratulated her for her new relationship. "Luckiest man alive!" one commented, referring to her potential husband.

But Who Is Michael Persall, and Is Katheryn Winnick Married to Him?

According to Persall's LinkedIn profile, he serves as a member of the board of trustees at the University of San Diego. He has been in the position since September 2019. Interestingly, he completed his degree in accounting from the same alma mater.

In addition, he is also the co-founder and board member of Blooma.ai, board member of Vuori, Inc., chairman of the board at C3bank, and a managing manager at ABP. The California-based real estate agent has an Instagram handle, too, but he has opted for a private account.

Returning to Winnick's relationship with Persall, there has been no follow-up about their romance since the earlier Instagram post.

And neither have they confirmed if they were dating each other. Because of that, it is unclear if they are still dating, got married, or no longer talk to each other.

Katheryn Winnick Was Previously Linked to Sofía Vergara’s Ex

In January 2015, Winnick was spotted with Colombian actress Sofía Vergara's ex-fiancé Nick Loeb, having a date night in Los Angeles. DailyMail reported that the two looked comfortable together as they stood outside of the Sunset Tower Hotel.

The actress was dressed in a black dress with a low-cut V-neck and mid-thigh-length skirt, whereas the filmmaker and businessman donned a tan jacket over a loosely buttoned white dress shirt and dark-colored jeans.

The two left the place driving in Winnick's white Porsche, which the actress drove herself. But neither of them ever confirmed if they were dating each other.

Loeb was snapped with the actress after he ended his engagement with Vergara in less than a year.
