A Look at Jazmyn Simon’s Eventful ‘Guatemala’ Wedding to Husband Dule Hill
Jazmyn Simon, an actress known for her roles in Ballers, Raising Dion, and Locked Down, had a great wedding day with her husband, Dulé Hill, back on April 21, 2018.
In case you didn't know Hill, he is also a famous actor known for his roles as Charlie Young on the NBC drama television series The West Wing and detective Burton "Gus" Guster on the USA Network television comedy-drama Psych.
He even received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in the NBC drama.
Coming back to the wedding, Simon and Hill — who are now raising an adopted daughter and biological son together — said "I do" in Antigua, Guatemala, a historic city in the country's highlands, in front of their close friends and family members.

Some of the friends who attended the wedding include The West Wing actors Allison Janney and Richard Schiff and Hill's Psych co-star, James Roday.
Choosing the Wedding Location
Speaking with People after the ceremony in April 2018, Simon shared the reason behind picking Guatemala as their destination location. "I found out about the beautiful ruins in Antigua by fate," she shared.
She continued to explain, saying, "The Capuchinas was built in 1736 and suffered two massive earthquakes...but after 243 years, the building is still standing. I thought, what better physical representation of the love Dulé and I have for one another, that no matter how many storms come, how the world will shake, our love will stand the test of time."
And when she explained the idea to her husband, he was very excited about it and zeroed in on the said location.
But when everything looked set, the weather came out as a great challenge for the couple. As per the actress, the weather changed from "sunny to rainy to cloudy to thunderstorms" every day.

“I had been stalking the weather for a good month because we decided to get married in the garden,” the diva said of the wedding location's weather.
Even on the day of the nuptials, the storm clouds started rolling in as they were about to begin the ceremony.
"Both Dulé and I were crying while we were reciting our vows, and I wasn’t sure if it was raindrops or tears falling on my shoulders," she recalled.
But thankfully, it didn't rain until they exited the garden. The sky reportedly opened up and began raining after the ceremony.
The Best Part of Jazmyn Simon and Dulé Hill’s Wedding
The celebration location or all the other fun wasn't the best part of the ceremony. P.S. not even considering the weather, here!
According to Hill, who also spoke with People, seeing his wife, the beautiful bride walking down the aisle was the best part of the day for him.
“It is said that a husband and wife should function like two wings of the same bird,” he added. “I’m looking forward to soaring to life’s highest heights with Jazmyn.”
On the big day, the bride wore a gown by BERTA, while the groom was styled in a Ralph Lauren tux.
