On June 1, 2022, Jack Wright uploaded a photo of moving boxes and shared that he was moving on to the “next chapter” of his life.

Wright had officially moved out of the Hype House. He did not explain his departure, but the internet had its own theories.

Hollywire, a celebrity news page, wondered if he “could be done with the Hype House” insinuating he had a fallout with the other members.

Over on Instagram, tiktokinsiders reposted Wright’s IG story, and in the comments section, fans commented that the Hype House was boring and that everyone should leave.

One user wrote, “Vinnie is next. The Hype House is so boring now. Vinnie and Jack are the only ones who kept it up after everyone left.”

Another person wrote, “When will @petroutv realize that there is no more Hype House? It is old and stale. I think everyone should just go their separate ways, tbh.”

Thomas Petrou Addresses Why Jack Wright Moved Out

But before the internet could spread any rumors, Thomas Petrou, the founder of the Hype House, offered his take on the matter.

On the same day Wright posted the photo, Petrou uploaded a video on TikTok saying he had an important message for everyone.

He noted Wright was the most amazing kid in the world, and he was going to conquer amazing things in the next chapter of his life.

But instead of making his departure something positive, people twisted into something which did not sit well with Petrou.

He explained that when he started the Hype House; he and his friends thought they would always be together, which was naive of them.

They did not consider that people would grow and move on to the next part of their lives.

And despite everyone leaving, the reason Hype House still existed was because they kept “talent coming in and talent coming out.”

Most of the members stayed at the house for a year or two and moved out. This made room for new members who needed the content house to further their careers.

He concluded the video by thanking everyone who had supported them for the past two years.

TikTokers Who Have Left the Hype House

The Hype House was formed in 2019 by Chase Hudson and Thomas Petrou and included some of TikTok’s biggest stars, such as Addison Rae, Avani Gregg, and even Charli and Dixie D’Amelio.

All the members reached superstardom far quicker than if they had flown solo.

After a rapid rise, the most popular members left the group to build their own individual brands.

The D’Amelio sisters left in May 2020 and now have their own podcast, makeup line, and reality show, among many other things.

Eventually, Rae left and started brushing shoulders with the Kardashians and even landed a lead role in Netflix’s rom-com, He’s All That.

Daisy Keech also left after she had disputes with some of the other members.

Similarly, Tayler Holder, Nate Wyatt, Olivia Ponton, and Kelliane Stankus moved out.

The members that remain are Petrou, Mia Hayward, Vinnie Hacker, Sam Dezz, Brooke Monk, Tabitha Swatosh, and Jack Hayward.
