Congratulations are in order for Yasmin Maya. 

The vlogger, better known as BeautyyBird to her 1.1 million Instagram followers, took to the social media platform to announce that she had given birth to her second child. With a photo of her baby snuggled in her chest, Maya also revealed some information about her newborn in the caption.  

Named Kailin Alexandra, she was born on November 11 at 8.43 pm and weighed 9.3lbs, and was 21 inches long. She cried little noise and wrapped her hand on the other’s finger. The new mother shared that they were all occupied with trying to take in all the baby snuggles. 

She also added that she couldn’t stop kissing her new born and was excited to share more of her with her followers. Baby Alexandra also had an Instagram account of her own, which her mother revealed at the beginning of the caption. 

She then thanked everyone sincerely for praying for them. 

Yasmin Maya’s Pregnancy Announcement

In true blogger fashion, Maya had shared with her fans that she was pregnant in a video on her YouTube channel. Titled ‘WE’RE PREGNANT!’ and uploaded on May 11, 2021, she talked about her pregnancy. 

The video featured a family montage and Maya’s baby bump in full view before it cut off to her and her husband sitting down for a chat. 

Sharing that she was 14 weeks pregnant, the vlogger iterated that they were planning for a second baby, but they were not trying, so they were surprised to learn that they were expecting one. She did not experience any major red flags, so the couple did not have any clue about expecting.

Maya then detailed her pregnancy journey. She explained that she was confident about what to expect because it was her second time, but she realized she was wrong. 

This pregnancy has slapped me in the face because it’s been completely different. It feels like I am finding out for the first time what it is like to be pregnant because this whole pregnancy has been completely different. 

She added that her morning sickness hit her hard, which was why the announcement was delayed. She also thanked her fans and followers for respecting her privacy and letting her announce on her own time. 

Yasmin Maya’s Husband and Kid

Maya had her first kid, Jaylin Valentina, on December 11, 2019, four years after she and her husband, Valentin Torres, got married. 

The couple got married officially through their church on February 14, 2015, after going through many hardships together, which she detailed in her video titled ‘Draw My Life.’ Maya shared that they had been separated for three years because of paperwork problems. 

Her husband was in the US trying to get Maya in, who was in Mexico. 

In the video, she also shared that she wanted to be a mom, and luckily for her, she is now blessed with two kids.
